I really appreciate this Jack. I needed something cheap and workable because all I was doing is creating a mini-lab at my desk so I can understand how things worked. So for the price I paid for its functionality, I’m very happy when my purchase .

I use this lift stand for my laser engraving, to raise small stuff. It is quite handy

I used these to glue braces back inside a broken guitar, worked perfectly

Handy for using as a “third hand” to support a fairly heavy car generator in order to tighten the fan belt. This is for an antique 1935 Ford, where the generator sits above the flathead engine. The mechanical jack fit nicely underneath and I could take up slack with the knob. Built lightly, but bought it with this task in mind, worked fine!

Extremely soft aluminum won't hold anything heavier than a grain of rice

I ordered this to use for fine height adjustments with a laser level when my needed measurements were lower than a standard tripod would accomodate. The size worked perfectly. However, it is not at all rigid. Front to back and side to side movement of the top is probably 1/8" or more. Quite wobbly. Those tolerances were far too great for my intended use, so I cut some strips of wood to fit in between the top and bottom on the sides to get my desired height then cranked the top down tight. At that point it made a solid platform, but it is not adjustable. So, if you need a precise platform, this is not it. For a use that only needs to raise and lower something to approximate height, this will likely work OK.

Works good as a brace repair jack for interior acoustic guitar work. It will fit a standard sound hole and easy to maneuver inside the guitar. I've used it multiple times. >>> And its a GREAT price too! ~
