Very effective for constipation. It can cause some cramping though. It is also the cheapest for of magnesium. But does the job. I do trust this line though. Magnesium citrate works well to. But this particular magnesium cleans you out effectively. ;)

Like most colon cleanser reviews, the content below shouldn't be read while having a meal. I believe that the most important points are 1. Level of cramping pain, 2. Time between taking and the bowel movement, and 3. the characteristics of the waste that is pushed out, all of which I touch on here. I've tried another colon cleanse supplement before this one and can say that this is different and much better. I do periodic cleanses to detoxify due to a certain health condition. In addition to this, I take a couple of medications and read that meds can negatively affect digestion. I also wanted to improve my intestinal system's ability to absorb nutrients and after reading a recommendation in a health forum, decided to give this a try. This product is different in that it uses oxygenation biochemical actions to move/clean out the colon. In effect it doesn't just move waste out, it seems to dissolve the waste that adheres to colon walls, which is then pushed out. When I used the another product, I had level 8 abdominal pain/cramps roughly 3 hours after taking a recommended dose signaling an urgent trip to the restroom with cramps as I'm forcing solid waste out. This Oxy-Powder's oxygenation effects result in only slight to no cramping 6-8 hours later and the bowel movements are in liquefied form. The release isn't painful, but instead quick and effortless. Since it did come out pretty much pulverized and liquefied, I did have to get to the bathroom as soon as possible when I felt the urge to go. I took four capsules before bed and I go shortly after waking up. I would have to go again roughly 4-7 hours later but not unpredictably or numerous times. Therefore, 1 dose is less painful, requires less effort, and doesn't result in a fully disrupted day at work due to unpredictable urgent trips to the restroom. What's neat about this product is that if I took less than 4 capsules per dose, then the results vary; 2 capsules yielded softer solids coming out during bowels movements (not messy). So depending on one's preference, you can adjust the dosage for amount and consistency of waste removal. I did this for 7 days and took a probiotic to get my digestive system up to par. Felt more energy as the days went by. I felt lighter and "cleaner" as well. I had improved digestive processes in terms of my stomach's uptake of nutrients as I felt a stronger effect from meds that I currently take. Highly recommend. I first tried Oxy-Powder back in February. I had a candida problem which was causing reoccuring yeast infections every month. A little back history. In April 2016, I got my very first yeast infection. I used the three day over the counter yeast infection treatment ;it worked and the yeast infection went away. In July, I got a second yeast infection. I went to the gynecologist and was given fluconazole. I got relief a day after taking the pill, however the next month it was back again. After reading that this was common online and not wanting to spend more money on copays and paying my deductible I did not go back to the doctor. This continued every month until February 2017. In September 2016, I started taking a probiotic every day (the Renew Life Women's 90 billion). This definitely helped with my yeast infections (they became much milder than the first three I had) and digestive system, but I was still getting them every month. I used the probiotics both orally and vaginally. At the end of December, I decided to try the Garden of Life women's 85 billion probiotics and Yst management (digestive enzymes). This definitely helped too and became even more mild. In February I was due for my yearly check with the Gynecologist, so I went talked to her about my reoccuring infections. She sent in a swab and the lab confirmed it was yeast infection. She wrote me a prescription for Terconazole which is a seven day vaginal cream. I used this and I'm not sure it really helped as I still had some external vaginal after using it for seven nights. Probably a week after using the Terconazole cream I did the Oxy-Powder seven day cleanse and used the probiotics that came with the colon cleanse kit. I took three first night and nothing happened. Then I took four. I went once or twice. Then I tried six and this was the magic number to achieve three to five movements a day. I really didn't change my diet during the cleanse as I'm a primarily vegetarian (I eat a little fish every now and then) and eat pretty healthy. The next month (March) no yeast infections came and has stayed that way. Oxy-Powder also helped with my hand eczema. It wasn't until I took Oxy-Powder that I realized I had several food sensitivity that were causing some of my flare ups. Since then I limited/stopped eating fruits /vegetables in the nightshade family, gluten, and am trying to eat very little pre-packaged foods. I continue use oxy powder one a week or once every other week as a mantience dose if I am bad and eat a food that causes an eczema flare up which I have recently learned is called dermatitis herpetiformis (caused by a gluten sensitivity) or my digestive system slows down. Other benefits having a regular potty schedule first thing in the morning before leaving for work and then usually after lunch. As others mentioned clean up is also very easy after the cleanse;one or two wipes take care of the job. I would highly recommend trying Oxy-Powder. I would encourage you to buy it first directly from Global Healing as they have a six month return policy if you are not happy with the results. I've used this brand/product in the past and it was great. It didn't give me that stomach pain like from a laxative. It really did feel like a natural process. This is there new packaging but I don't see a difference in ingredients so I expect for it to perform the same. I do like the old packaging better. It shows that the company has been open since 1998, prefer the blue color, the icons on the bottle. The pictures show more the old packaging. I just put them side by side to show the difference. Happy to see the company has now even more products.

JUST TAKE ONE! The serving size is 4, I took 2, and I’m dehydrated and sore after being up all night. At one point I thought I needed an epidural I was cramping so bad. However, I’m no longer bloated and am completely cleaned out. 4 stars because they work too well!

Love the product, simple, natural ingredients and worked when I needed it. Tasteless, easy to open the capsule and put into a smoothie. The shelf life is 2yrs +. It is a medium sized pill, a bit more difficult to swallow if you are not a “pill person”. The material of the capsule also may make it difficult if your mouth is dry, which results in short term pain.
