Excellent Product
My window cleaner does not know his next visit is his last one. This is a great product, the handle is sturdy aluminium, lightweight so no effort in getting it up to those higher windows but strong enough to last. It extends and retracts easily and the locking clips hold whatever length you decide on just fine although there is a warning in the instructions not to leave them in the locking position during storage as this can stretch them unduly. Many reviews criticise the assembly instructions and yes they are poor but it's easy enough to figure out how to put everything together. My only real criticism is the inline bottle that allows you add some cleaning detergent leaks at the threads and needed some PTFE tape to make them watertight. You will need to cut about a foot off your garden hose if you want to make the push fit connector to an outside tap and have your own connector everything else is provided in the kit.

Great for "standard" window cleaning tasks
I took advantage of one of the first sunny and mild spring days to use this the same day it was delivered, and overall it worked very well. The pole feels well designed and well made, with comfortable foam hand grips on the bottom section. It arrives with all sections put together and the water feed hose inserted so there's just the cleaning head to screw on and its nozzles to be connected to get going. I decided to give it a workout on my "bog-standard" house, which has a flat-roof extension and a conservatory as well as 6 first floor windows. The pole is easy to extend by twisting the connectors between each section allowing you to pull out as much or as little of the relevant section as you need before locking it off. You can't pull the poles too far as they have in internal stop preventing you from accidentally pulling one right out. The technique I decided on involved using a bucket of soapy water to wash the upper windows and frames on each face of the house, then plug in the hose attachment and rinse them in one go. Although a little unwieldy, I found that retracting just one pole section made it easy to dip the brush head into the bucket and extend it again as you head towards the window. I found the oval-shaped bucket that came with my mop worked well. A standard circular bucket won't be as easy. In use, the poles are stiff enough that you can get a bit of a scrub on, although the brush head is very soft. This is great for not scratching or damaging anything, but you might find it doesn't have quite enough oomph for any particularly stubborn dirt. Also, I found that if you put pressure on the poles there's a tendency to slightly twist them in your hand, which can mean the brush head starts to loosen as it's just threaded on. When it comes to rinsing, I've dropped one star off this because there's no inline valve to regulate/stop the water flow. This means you either have to go to and from the tap in between rinsing and cleaning operations or (as in my case) use a hose with one of the automatic connectors that stops the water when you disconnect. A simple valve on the base of the pole (or even an inline one in the hose) would have been ideal. However, it's only a minor inconvenience and doesn't get in the way of the actual job in hand. The built-in squeegee is ok, but the angle is fixed and it's not very deep, so you have to get in the right position to be able to get any water off. It's better than nothing, but don't expect to be able to achieve an absolutely perfect streak-free finish with this one if you've got hard water, especially on the upper windows! The brush brought up the uPVC conservatory nicely, removing green algae from the underside of gutters and fascias. Cleaning its roof was fine, the pole giving a good reach to get to the back. The fixed angle of the brush head does mean that you'll probably need to be up on a step ladder or, like me, standing on a handy flat roof next to it to get the right angle for a good scrub. The internal water hose is clear plastic and quite thin, but the connector on the end fits a standard garden hose connector with no problem and it doesn't seem to get itself tangled up easily. I'd be a bit wary about dragging it against any rough render or against the corner of brickwork, etc, as there's no protective coating like a hosepipe so you could damage it easily. Overall an excellent purchase. Even on the first attempt, I had cleaned every window in the place plus the conservatory in less than 45 minutes. Recommended.

Great results on dirty conservatory roof
Looked first at the screw on extender pole version but went for the telescopic version instead and really glad I did. Even up on a ladder I found this easy to handle, even at full length and soon got the cleaning process down to a good routine. First a good dampening, then a good brush (great sized brush head), flipped over to the squeegee for any stubborn dirt which did the job nicely and a final rinse and brush then done. Took a while as looked like not cleaned for years but came up brilliantly. Very pleased with this brush hose and although a bit of an investment I think definitely worth it because of the quality which looks like it will last well, the ease of use and great results.

Windows Cleaned Within 30 MInutes
I have been using a steam cleaner for my windows, but not only does this use electricity but also wastes water which comes out at high speed. Wanting to save money and not waste water, I looked around and found this window cleaning pole. It arrived very quickly and, having used it for the first time today, I am very impressed. Easy to connect to hosepipe. Adjustable flow on the pole itself. Very easy to use and leaves windows looking clean. Fully recommended to anyone who wants to save money on window cleaners, electricity and water!

Good product - truly awful assembly instructions
This is good once assembled but I have to say, I read the other reviews saying how bad the assembly instructions are, and I thought, how bad can they be? How hard can it be? Oh my! They are truly awful. The only way to do it is to make sense of the product photos on the listing and then use some common sense/luck. This would be such a simple problem to solve but there isn't any help on the manufacturers website. Shame, it's a good product let down by the customer journey.

Makes window cleaning a breeze
Bought for cleaning windows on a standard two storey house. Once assembled, I whipped around the house and was very pleased with the results. This model has a soap dispenser and you need to buy the relevant soap separately. Instructions aren't great on how to put soap into dispenser. After trial and error I found that you need to fill the soap dispenser before you turn on the water tap otherwise the dispenser is full of water with no room for soap. Downstairs windows very easy, upstairs windows were on the longest setting and were slightly more difficult. I couldn't get to upstairs windows over a porch so had to do those by hand. Overall I'm really pleased with this tool.
