This product is amazing. Worked right away, very happy with results.

For the price it helps and beats the dealers asking price. Product looks great and great quality. Cons: shipping box was well padded for shipments as these boxes were placed inside. The boxes were open and torn and not sealed as someone open to look at them. So I am at concern if they were switched as I ordered Bosch 17102 as well. As for installing these they will take you about 4 hours and getting under the vehicle and ensure you have the right tools.

Replacing either of the "upstream" heated o2 sensors (= lambda sensors) looks to be and should be a pretty easy job on most N51 or N52-powered BMW cars. You should remove the plastic engine cover and the whole cabin air filter/cowl covering, but that's about all it takes to get access to the rear bank o2 sensor that sits just below a little metal shelf/cover of sorts. The wiring for both sensors wraps around back of the valve cover and joins two connectors on top of it. I spent way too much time trying to remove that little metal cover just above the bank 2 o2 sensor because of a tiny rusted bolt (E8 Torx) caused by 17+ years of heat and exposure. Eventually I just bent the cover upward enough to allow an offset-style o2 sensor socket to slip past it with the cable in it and I was able to unscrew the bad upstream o2 sensor easily. With the little cover out of the way, the whole job should take you less than an hour to replace one, or maybe even both of these sensors on the N52 engine. The new sensor has some appropriate anti-seize on its threads already. After you install it/them, reset your diagnostic codes and you're on your way - my last one lasted 150,000 miles.

Fit my 2011 BMW 328i perfectly!! Tougher to install but if you have the time you can save yourself lots of money. Plenty of videos to help online.

This one is fairly easy to access, compare to Bank 2, Sensor 1 (upstream, cylinder 1,2,3). I didn't need to remove anything to access this O2 sensor. I sprayed penetrating oil, left it for 2 minutes. Threads come with anti-seize cream, so I left the packaing cap on till I was ready to install the sensor. The hardest part was removing the electrical connector (which tells you how easy this job was). Length of the wire is exact match as existing O2 sensor. Bosch and p/n is same as the one dealer showed me.... just more expensive.

This is my second one since the first one came used (see pics) now this one has stopped working after only having it 3 wks in the car. Are these fakes? I don’t see how a genuine Bosch o2 sensor will only last 3 weeks.

I think the product is fine, but the option to install for $40 is inaccurate. The seller contacted me to say it is $165 instead of $40.

Bosch is the best you can get for Euro vehicles.
