I use this in my beard (silver/gray) to keep it under control. Pleasant scent, and some hold for the fly away whiskers. Hold could be better, but that's just being picky. I think that complaints about the smell being too strong may simply be using too much. I put a tiny amount on a comb, and then comb my beard and it controls without being obvious or wet looking. You can get the wet look by using more, but then you will notice the smell for some time.

If you mix it up occasionally with different options and type of hair products then this one might be your choice. Hold is great for a neat style. It says high shine that is not my experience. I think it is modest shine at best easy application and texture. Give it a try. Fragrance is mild and clean.

This is a great product! This appeared at Electric Barbering, Route 66, Williams, Arizona. If you have an unruly beard this is the second-best product I’ve ever used. It’s easy to apply and remove. It doesn’t have traditional wax base. If you want you can wipe it out and start over. If you curl, you must work your stache a little differently because the normal wax-induced curl isn’t there. I HIGHLY recommend!

String hold. Use sparingly

I like the light scent and ease of application. I use this for shaping my handlebar mustache. I blow dry each side for 30 sec or so and it holds all day.

Excellent buy. I like the smell, the texture and the color. The only inconvenience is the lid which is tricky to close. Aside from that I’d blindly buy this again when it’s done.

I've tried a ton of different pomades, clays, putties, fibers, you name it... from my barber - American Crew, Redken, Billy Jealousy, Baxter of California. You name it, I've tried them. I'm so glad I gave Victory's pomade a chance because I absolutely love it. First, the smell is perfect, it has this very unique kind of sweet smell. I thought with the description saying tobacco it was going to smell smokey, but its more of a sweet, but still masculine smell. Huge fan. The hold is perfect - it's quite a strong hold, but I wouldn't say it goes as far as making the hair "crispy." I have a couple annoying cowlicks and it deals with those nicely. Definitely more for people looking for more of a polished, formal, tight, in-place look (think Don Draper vibes) - if you're going for some sort of messy/natural look, this isn't for that. It also easily washes out with just water. Lastly, the colour - probably the coolest thing in my opinion, I've been using the product for about 2 and a half months (and nearing the end of one tin with daily use), and I can definitely see that my bit of grey hairs shine just a little bit more. It's a nice little touch. Anyways... I don't normally write these ridiculously long reviews, but I saw so many negative reviews on here that I wanted to contribute. I love this product, AND it's a Canadian brand as well, can't go wrong.

I like this one as its water based and perfect for my thin hair. Gives it some sheen and holds really well without being stiff and oily. Have been ising it for about 3 years. Good product!

I had high expectations for this product. It’s marketed at being for gray hair, but the purple tint is barely noticeable in the tin and the product doesn’t do much at all as far as shine goes. Also, for a Pommade it is extremely sticky and hard to apply on dry hair. Easier on wet hair, but always leaves the hair a bit hard like a gel not manageable like a pommade should. So you cannot really rework your hair without putting water in them. The only guys that need that much hold are the guys with a Pompadour and you only see those in pictures, rarely in real life. The company should rework their formula with less glue and a bit more of of something oily for the shine…

This is by far the best pomeade you will find on the market. Texture, hold, smell, moldability are all 5/5. At $25 a can I only use this product for special occasions, not my everyday product. Please bring price down a bit!!!
