Good product, Large supply will last years. Used 1-teaspoon dissolved in cup of 155 degree water to clarify a cloudy IPA. Added to keg when racking and will clear brew to commercial quality in about 2 days. Best when beer is cold crashed before racking to keg. Drops everything in suspension and comes out in first 2 pours. If you keg beer this works much easier than trying clear it using a filter

It does not clear sugar wash. I later read that it works best for red wines and higher ph brews. These details should would be helpful to know. I gave it a try since it is less expensive than chitosan-kielsol. But the latter still worked best.

Works on clearing my beer. More finings than I will ever need, but it feels good to have the firepower - just used on a fiestbier and am looking forward to crystal clear results.

Used for clearing up homebrews. Add 1 tsp to distilled or boiled water at 150 degrees and stir until dissolved. Wait until it cools and add to the beer about 3 days before bottling. Does a great job, all my beers are finishing without any chill haze.

If you are brewing beer or making wine at home then you will want this gelatin to clear up your product, and I found out that you can also use gelatin to mellow out the sharp tastes. This is a lot of gelatin. A half a teaspoon for gallon for wine (slightly more for beer) and let it sit for 2-4 days, and the product will clear right up. I am a big fan of the product and the price!

I don’t know if this is good or bad. It doesn’t come with any instructions or guidelines. I found some instructions online, and followed them, but I didn’t get any notable results.

so i bought these for eating. i thought gelatin is gelatin. but they smell funny and since they are for cleaning, i guess there is no quality for eating and are probably made of the cheapest stuff on the market. it's my fault. they don't say for eating, but they don't say don't buy them to eat either. i wrote to the company but never got a reply. i think they should write on their page not for consumption. they would avoid returns.
