Mattel Mattel DC Comics Multiverse Reverse Flash The Flash TV Action Figure

Great. Basically I have loved the Flash ever since watching him depicted on screen by John Wesley Shipp in the original CBS TV Series. More or less I have loved character ever since I began to read comics. I have followed the Flash sporadically as I took the time to understand the men who have been the Flash, from Jay Garrick, Barry Allen, Wally West and Bart Allen. Each man encountering several different enemies, but none stand out more than the infamous than Professor Zoom, aka The Reverse Flash. Every superhero has an arch-nemesis and the Flash is no different, but surely and truly Eobard Thawne has been Barry Allen's greatest foe. The CWTV series with Grant Gustin brings forward Thawne as the big bad for Season 1 and as Grant Gustin's Flash has become an action figure so too has... Tom Cavanagh or Matt Letscher ... as the Reverse Flash. The figure's package shows Cavanagh as the Reverse Flash, but could go either way as the figure's face is pretty bland. Letscher has a more smoother and rounder face with Cavanagh being more older and slimmer face. Personally I like to think this as Matt Letscher, given how Cavanagh plays Harrison Wells and Letscher as the real Eobard Thawne. Either way its a great action figure to collect if you are a fan of the show. Other than the who the character appears to be, the costume itself is splendidly accurate to the the show. The head and torso have brighter yellow as the forearms and trousers have a black faded yellow look. Red streaks as well as other things to show that this isn't a simple repaint of the Flash action figure. Everything is done well, down to the red lighting and black circle on the symbol. I would have liked some accessories like the red lightning bolts when he runs. Or an alternate head. This figure completes the Connect and Collect Justice Buster figure by bringing the lower torso. Now for a review of the Justice Buster Connect and Collect action figure. Basically this toy lineup is made as both a collection of the later New 52 action figures as well as the CWTV series of Arrow and the Flash. But this Connect and Collect figure is a New 52 figure. Shame, I would have preferred the CWTV version of Grodd. The toy is amazing, once you have all the parts together you get a pretty awesome figure. Basically its New 52 Batman dressed in an armored suit that is used to fight the Justice League in the event anyone of them turns bad and he has to fight back. This character fights in a comic book story that has Batman fight them all. When connected the figure is 8.5 inches tall, 9.5 if you count the face's ears, no accessories though. The head and torso shoulders are built in a way that allows you to turn the head, and the arms. Plus, because this is a Connect and Collect figure, its design flaw is within how one connects the figure. The legs and arms snapped nice when I connected them, but the torso is very weak. Just tapping it disconnects it. Still a great figure.

Nice figure from Mattel of our favorite bad guy from season 1 of CW's The Flash. A favorite show. A favorite actor from the show. A worthy action figure. Comes with a Click N Connect Justice Buster piece who looks awesome all built up. After clicking n connecting through 20 waves of Mattel DC SuperHero figures it was fun to go back to the well!

Good size . Great detail but it legs or arm does not move that what my son wanted it

If you watch The Flash this is a must for your collection. I wasn't too sure about this line, but overall it's better than i expected. This figure is NOT a reuse of The Flash. This is not a reuse of The Flash mold. Nice detail and stands well on its own.

This action figure is a very good make. It has a lot of bendable limbs, and is about 6 inches. It is very detailed, and pretty sturdy. But I would advise you to not throw or slam this toy.

I was glad to have gotten this figure but was sad to find it had been made with two right hands. Not sure if that's a common error but it made me a little disappointed. This is a harder to find figure so I guess I'm stuck with this one. I'm still happy they made a figure of him though since he was a big villain of the Flash in season 1. Definitely check your figure before you open him though.

Went from 5 stars in the package to 1 star after 5 minutes of play. Three action figures from the 6 inch line broke today from normal play one of them I broke myself trying to bend the knee. I've got GI Joes from the 80s that are still played with by my son these toys are built cheap with a premium price and need to be left in hot water(boiled first) then have the joints manipulated and loosened so they don't snap. That should not have to be done with $20 "action" figures Mattel...using bad material or something because some of these figures are trash a parent shouldn't be performing surgery on toys after a few minutes of play with gorilla glue and medical tape on Christmas. Bought 20 of them for my 9 yr old and 3 out of 22 are already broke..damn shame.

Since I ordered the action figure on December 21, I was afraid that the toy would not arrive for Christmas. The toy arrived on December 23, and was a huge hit with my grandson. The action figure was exactly as advertised.
