Great find.
For an inexpensive pen, it writes beautifully. Only problem, the cap doesn't post to the back of the pen. Not a real problem for me. A joy to write w/ light weight so you don't get tired if writing for a while.

Exactly as described
Great entry level pen to test the waters if you think you want to switch to fountain pens. Fun to use, writes well.

Looks strange, but writes nice.
I like the pen, it is pretty comfortable write with. The weird twist shape took a little getting used to when removing the cap. You can't just pull it off, you have to twist it while pulling. It is not always clear which way is the top and which is the bottom. Maybe a clip or a clear difference between the cap and body would help. The ink flows nicely using the included ink cartridge. It uses international standard cartridges, so one of my generic converters would fit it if I chose to use a different ink. Overall it writes very nicely for an inexpensive pen.

Great fountain pen.
I bought it to allow my granddaughter to use. It keeps her holding the pen correctly to the paper. I have used it and it seems to flow great and never hard starts. The design is weird to hold at first but it works great. Not heavy and posts well even with the shape. The nib is very smooth and seems to take a lot more pressure like a steel nib should.

Good starter fountain pen, great grip angle
I love the angles for the grip. I have been having a hard time writing with the newly developing arthritis and writers cramps, but this seems to help a bit! Also the blue ink color is lovely. No instructions on how to get the ink out, BUT, I will tell you that if you twist the grip part enough, the top (not the cap) will come off and you can flip the ink cartridge so that it is usable. I thought it was a genius move to prevent the pen from leaking in transport.

Cute, but uncomfortable to hold.
Let me just say, for the cost of this pen, it’s really not a bad pen... for the right user. Alas, I am not that user. I bought the Twist to try and get a feel for Pelikan nibs before I purchased a higher end one. The nib itself is pretty nice for a pen under $15. It’s pretty smooth and the ink flowed very well (I think my ink selection was a bit on the dry side, but I feel like that’s more the ink than the pen). As for its look, I think the rose gold/metallic pink look is super nice. Very cute in this color. The cap snaps tight, but when trying to open it, sometimes the section twists off the pen, which can be annoying, but wasn’t a deal breaker for me. I had concerns from the beginning that I may not enjoy the pen. The angular shape of the section (the place where you hold the pen) makes it uncomfortable to hold. So much so that I get distracted by it. I have a few Lamy Safaris/Al-Stars that I never use for the same exact reason, but on a less distracting level. I am a left handed underwriter (writing with the paper at an angle). I’m wondering if that’s the reason why I don’t like these types of pens or if I just prefer a more round (Cylindrical?) section. Also, one of the features Amazon asked me to rank after the overall was sheerness. “Sheerness?” In the 5 or so years of being a fountain pen enthusiast, I’ve never thought about or seen a discussion about the “sheerness” of a pen. Eh. Maybe something got lost in translation.

Comfortable grip, smooth nib, wet flow
pros: -comfortable grip, great for cursive but not the easiest to print -wet ink flow -smooth nib, feels broader than "fine", also writes a bit italic -great price for the quality -takes a long cartridge or 2 stacked regulars -made in germany if that matters to you -my favorite fountain pen yet (yeah, subjective) cons: -doesn't have a clip on the cap, but you can see that from the pictures -longitudinal seams on the body look like cracks at first glance

Very uncomfortable to hold
This pen has very smooth nib and came with nice dark blue ink. Unfortunately holding it in a way so that it will write is very uncomfortable. I tried different grips without success. I even gave it to one of my daughters who is left handed to try. ( The pen is advertised as good for both right and left handed people. ) She didn't like it either. I think the problem is caused primarily by bad design. Pen that have similar thick triangular grip that have solved the adjustment issue is the Sailor Tuzu Adjust that allows the nib to be rotated in 10 degree steps. That pen is however 2.5 times more expensive ... If you are looking for entry level pen and want to avoid bad surprises get Pilot Kakuno or Platinum Preppy.
