I'm not a pipe expert, this is the first I've bought myself and I was impressed. My black cherry tobacco was delicious in it and we got some lovely flavours and smoke coming out the bowl. The two stems were good, both worked and have a snug fit. Used all the accessories that came with it. For the price you get everything you need and two different stems to try! As a first time pipe to see if you like a pipe, I think this is great. Now I've never smoked a briar and if I enjoy this enough, if I use it enough, then maybe eventually I'll treat myself and update this review with a comparison. However as a starter pipe I couldn't recommend this enough.

Not a cheap pipe for someone starting out. Comes with everything you need. Can't complain for the price.

The 2 stem is a great innovation. Long for inside, short for outside. I use Al kinds of pipes including briar. A smoke is a smoke and the important part is the tobacco you use. I have a Mount Blanc pen worth £400 quid. My £1 biro writes just as well. At the end of the day expensive and cheap pipes so the same job. Enjoy

Don’t waste money on this. It’s cheap and nasty crap. Spend the money for a decent briar pipe from somewhere and support British craftsmen , just google British briar smoking pipes and don’t risk toxic fumes from the nasty plastic and wood used in this imported crap. Blakemar briars sell handmade briar pipes for similar prices and they will last a lifetime and also are British made. Support your local craftsmen. Don’t let friends buy cheap nasty dangerous pipes. Literally fatal from the woods and finishing used. Waste of money.

This was a pure impulse buy on my part. The price was so reasonable that I didn’t expect much, but I like the style and have never smoked a Church Warden pipe before. It was a pleasure to smoke even though not broken in at all. Definitely worth a try.

Seit fast 30 Jahren rauche ich Pfeife und ich glaube, ich weiß wovon ich jetzt schreibe. Für einen wirklichen Pfeifen Enthusiasten, der mehrere Hundert bis über 1000 € für eine Pfeife ausgibt und sammelt, ist diese Pfeife sicherlich nichts! Aber Menschen wie ich, die eine Pfeife einfach als Rauchgerät ansehen, werden überrascht sein. Für das Geld ist die Pfeife wirklich gut verarbeitet. Holm und Mundstück passen gut zusammen (das kleine habe ich bis heute noch nicht verwendet) und das ganze ist absolut dicht und zieht keine Nebenluft. Die Bohrung liegt schön tief im Pfeifenkopf. Die Pfeife lässt sich sehr gut rauchen. Beim Einrauchen sollte man aber eher einen günstigeren Tabak verwenden. Denn die ersten 5 Füllungen schmecken nicht so dolle, einfach nur nach Holz. Da ist es egal was man für Tabak verwendet, es schmeckt nach Holz. Dann wird es aber wirklich besser. Mittlerweile hat sie keinen Eigengeschmack mehr. Für das Geld eine ganz klare Kaufempfehlung.

I bought this as a gift for a friend when he lost his. Since I am not familiar with pipes, I did some research and looked at the reviews, and this pipe was a good quality and good price. Well, he loved it. Says this pipe is way better than the one he lost. It doesn’t get as hot, it looks nicer and he likes smoking it better. He smokes a variety of pipe tobacco. He smokes this pipe nearly every day and it has held up well for him. It seems to be a mid level, good quality pipe.
