Absolutely terrible it was locked out of alignment so I couldn’t even put it on sat there for about an hour when it should’ve been like 20 minutes to change and then to top it off I only got 1 new mounting bolt and the box it came in looked like it was thrown off a 20 story building terrible straight terrible if I knew I was gonna take a gamble in buying it I wouldn’t of bought it

Installed 4WD Transfer Case Shift Encoder Motor which wasn't very hard. I also changed the Transfer case fluid. After getting it installed, all in the proper order and correctly, So I thought. I started up the 03 Tahoe Z71 and had it in 2 wheel drive. I pressed the 4x4 button and it went in to Auto 4x4. WHAT? I push the 2 wheel button again and it went right in to 2x. Ok! I pressed the 4 Low, went in to 4 Low no problem. I pressed the 4x4 button again and it went to 4 Auto again. Not 4x4 Didn't make sense. I went through this a few times. So I decided to see if it was the switch. Before I replaced the switch, I disconnected the battery and realized that was the new switch. I put the switch back in, reconnected the battery and was on my way to the auto shop, to see about getting it on a scope when I decided to press the 4x4 while doing maybe 20 MPH and what do you know, it went in to 4x4. I think disconnecting the battery reset the TCCM. Been working fine every since. I left the battery hooked up in order to make sure the encoder motor was in the proper position before I installed it by pressing the 2 wheel button before mounting it to the TC. I should have disconnected battery once I knew it was in 2 wheel. So if you have that problem, here's the reason. Disconnect the battery before mounting the encoder motor. Than reconnect it when done.
