Tinnitus Triggers = Damaged Ears after 30-Minutes
These speakers had a high-pitched whine coming out of them even through they were correctly connected to the same APC UPS as the computer to avoid ground-loop issues and using the 3.5mm jack stereo cable that was kept away from all other cables. Tried the PC jack connection in the back and front of the system, and also my Google Nexus 6P phone jack. Speakers were only set to use 5-10% or less of volume on them and also 15/100 on the PC to avoid the hissing and whining sound that they were emitting but it was still present. I only used these speakers for less than 30-minutes before I had enough and packed them up to be shipped back but the damage to my ears and hearing was done. I started hearing the tinnitus buzzy whine that night when I went to bed and ever since then every day when I get tired. These speakers triggered something in both of my ears that is now causing tinnitus for me anytime that I start getting tired or sleepy. Never had this problem before in my life and I've used dozens of different speaker systems and head-phones in my life, always a very low volume since I have very good hearing. This tinnitus problem has now been with me for a few months and it has not gotten any better. Spoke to my doctor and there is no clear-cure for it, even using a hormone treatment does not guarantee to solve or cure this issue. I fear that this issue might be permanent now, I hope not and that it'll go away after a few more months. I suspect that the cheap electronics in these speakers are to blame and that they sent out some super-high frequency that damaged my hearing. I'm even thinking of going to an audiologist to have my new hearing problem evaluated since I have no other markers for why this tinnitus happened other than the speakers.
