Academy USS Oliver Hazard Perry FFG-7

2008年発売とはいえ、ミサイルフリゲートの近代艦としては破格のキットですね。各モールドは悪くない出来です。ヘリ格納庫内は伽藍堂ですが、覗き込まなければほとんど見えないので、手を入れなくともあまり気にはなりません。各パーツの合いも良く、ストレス無くカタチになります。 手摺はプラ製でかなりの部分が再現されており、組立の内の多くの時間を割くことになります。以前、エッチングの手摺やアンテナを同梱してルーベンジェームス仕様のキットも出ていましたが、残念ながら現在は手に入りません。プラ製手摺はオーバースケール気味なのでサードパーティ製のエッチング手摺に換装する手もありますが、プラ製手摺取付用の穴が多数開いているので、この穴を埋めて、となると結構手間です。 安価なので、2隻購入して1隻はストレート、もう1隻は好きなだけ手を入れる、という楽しみ方も出来ますね。総じて良いキットだと思います。

Sehr gutes Modell, etwas anspruchsvoll, aber wirklich tolle Details. Speziell die PE Teile machen das Modell wirklich ansehnlich. Habe allerdings auf ein Lackieren der PE Teile verzichtet, damit die feinen Details nicht verloren gehen

This is a great kit with decent level of details. There were no major issues with this kit as far as parts fitting and mold flash. I did not need to use any putty with this kit. You can build it as is right out of the box for a quick weekend build, or purchase after market detail kits to really elevate the details of the ship if you are comfortable with resin and photo etch kits. There are many long small decals, so decal setter and softer solutions are highly recommended.

Es como la clase Santa María española. De hecho es el mismo barco pero en americano. España les compró los derechos para construir la serie Santa María.Las instrucciones un poco pobres.En la caja dice que entrando en su web se puede descargar la última versión de las instrucciones usando el número del artículo. Lo haces y solo aparece una foto del barco y un texto en coreano. Si clickeas en el texto a partir de ese momento toda la página web te sale en coreano.Me lo esperaba mas grande. Creo que puede quedar bonito con paciencia e imaginación. La he tirado a la basura, literalmente. Las piezas mas pequeñas se rompen , se rompen, se rompen cuando quieres sacarlas del molde. Da igual, he utilizado tres herramientas distintas , y no me falta experiencia en la construcción de maquetas. Y llevaba la mitad construida, pero ha sido frustrante. A quien le sirva el consejo. NO LA COMPREN.
