This is my second BAKFlip hard cover. Had one on my GMC which was destroyed by a falling tree during a tornado passage. After replacing the vehicle I purchased this one from Amazon and installed myself on my new Ford. This one is better and lighter than the original model. Fairly water resistant, but water from a driving rain creeps in from the tailgate area and a little on the sides. If you are carrying something than should not get wet you might consider keeping a trap as extra protection as I do. The best thing about any type of cover for your truck bed, is that once the bed is covered whatever is under the cover is out of sight and out mind. So those tempted to "take what they see" is avoided. The advantage of a sectional hard cover vs a solid or soft cover is the ability to access the full bed easily and lock it closed when the tail gate is up. This cover I found easy to install by myself in about an 1.5 hours. Watch a video, once you figure out how to mount the rails and where to run the water drain tubes it is very easy. My other cover was on my GMC for 10 years and it held up so I am expecting this one to perform similarly.

Far lighter in weight than the previous model I had installed on my f150. Same quality but much easier to fold back to utilize the entire space in the bed. Easy to self install and the quality of product make this a great option for covering the bed of your pickup.

Perfect fit 2025 Ford F-150 Lariat shot bet. Easy to install - 1 person can do. Only giving 4 starts because it does not come with paper direction - have to get online. Us old guys like paper directions......

Absolutely awesome tonneau cover for my 2016 ford f150 5.5' bed. Installing it was a breeze and very straight forward I highly recommend this tonneau cover to anyone thinking about buying one. Keeps everything in my bed nice and dry. Important note is when installing the bed rail clamps, you really have to lock in the clamps into the rail channel so when tightening it up it pushes the rail upward so when closing the tonneau cover it locks in perfect. Fits perfect on my truck and for the price of this cover it's well worth it.

I have had the MX4 cover since December 2021 when I took delivery of my 2022 F150. The first one got replaced under warranty in May 2024 due to being completely waterlogged and couldn’t be opened. I will give them props for the warranty, but the replacement/redesigned MX4 I received is a completely inferior product. They told me this was a new and improved design, but it was clear since realtruck took over Bakflip, cost cutting is their priority. The end caps break off easily. And worst of all the latches are much cheaper than Bakflip MX4 of years ago and these new ones freeze in cold weather. DO NOT BUY IF YOU LIVE UP NORTH. I am now going into my second winter with the most recent designed MX4 and it is constantly frozen. These tonneau covers aren’t even worth 1/4 the price that bakflip charges. Will not be buying another one when I buy my new truck next year. Junk.

Worth every penny! The fit, feel, and look were immediately noticeable when installed. I installed myself following the easy step by step instructions. The cover fit perfectly into my 2023 Ford F150 5.7’ bed. The seal was tested that day when driving in a rain storm. When I opened the tailgate sometime later the bed was dry! It’s a beautiful cover. The only thing I had trouble with was closing the gate when the last panel was down and locked in place. The gate top edge hit it when I swung it up. But by simply raising the panel, closing the gate, and the snapping closed the last panel, everything worked fine and I got a great seal. I’ll take that over leaks. I very much recommend this product. Great quality for the money!

It’s a nice and fairly sturdy. It was easy to install and fit perfectly. The only down side is that it started leaking at the first sight of rain.

Upgraded from the factory Ford trifold. This top is perfect. Fits excellent. Automatic tailgate opens and closes as it should with no interference. Had a major storm yesterday and the box was completely dry except for some water on the tail gate, which I expected. There is a small clearance at the tailgate to allow for the automatic tailgate release. You could adjust it closer if you need. I'm very satisfied. Looks so much better too.

Quick delivery, well packaged, no missing parts. Easy install. Looks great. Was deciding between the X4s and the M4 but I like that the M4 can be partially open. The X4s is either fully closed or fully opened. Very satisfied.

great quality and easy to install, all parts were included. makes the truck look better and everything is secured in the back.

The product is not bad, however the rear corner caps are flying off easy. I lost them both. The website orders will not ship to Canada, but they are selling to Canadians here on Amazon. The website needs to be changed! I reached a nice person who sent me a pair of front and back cornel caps. I am going to glue them on!

This tonneau was delivered BEFORE 24 hours to me and I love it! After having 2 BAKFlip MX4 hard folding tonneau covers on my past F-150s and now this is the 3rd, I will always buy this one every time! It is not heavy at all, you can even open and fold it with one hand, with ease! I definitely recommend this BAKFlip tonneau cover to all my 2021 F-150 peeps! Definitely worth the price, and installation is easy! Highly recommended and piece of advice, don't cheap out on Chinese low-quality ones, you'll regret it and waste your money; even though I live in Canada but this BAKFlip tonneau cover is made in the USA!
