I love these things.

I bought this to cover my garage floor to give it a homely look. It looks good on the floor so far. It’s over a year old. Seems like the quality is pretty good. I use my vacuum to clean it or sometimes sweep it with a broom. I have never washed it, however I think it can be washed. The price seems okay, not expensive. I will recommend 😊

I'm a mechanic, both at home and professionally. I bought this for home to protect my garage floor and it works wonderfully. I used it to clean an engine hanging off a hoist and the mat probably absorbed about a half gallon of water and it didn't get oversaturated. Of course when I stepped on it my boots got wet and I trekked filth all over my floor anyways. I'll definitely buy a larger one to cover my whole work area. I also rolled the hoist over the mat with and engine and transmission hanging off it and to my surprise it did not damage it. Highly recommend.

I use this to protect my wood floor from my 29 gallon aquarium. It is large enough to lay under and surround the aquarium and catches any splashes made from feeding, changing out water, and cleaning the tank. Perfect!

I purchased 2 of these mats to use under my dog's crates to keep them from sliding around and scratching my wood floors and to catch any water that may get splashed out during feeding time. While these are fine for what I purchased them for, there are some things to consider if purchasing them for their intended purpose - a garage floor. These mats are incredibly thin and lightweight. They are an outdoor carpet type material on top and have a glossy rubber backing on them. This backing IS NOT slip resistant, whatsoever. These mats move all over the floor with absolutely no issue, so definitely keep that in mind. I have stepped on them and almost fell because I wasn't prepared for them to slide. They also leak through. I don't know if this was specific to the ones I received or if this is a problem across the board. When I pull them out from under dog cages once a week to wash them, they're always wet underneath. If you're using these on a floor that you don't want damaged, I'd definitely test them somewhere else, first. Washing them is a breeze, though, so that's a bonus if you're using them anywhere other than a garage floor. I purchased 2 and both fit together in my standard size washing machine. I hang them to dry but I'd imagine they could be dried on an air-only cycle. Overall, I'm pleased with this purchase but I will be looking elsewhere for mats that don't slide. That was the main point of having a mat with a rubber backing and these are way too glossy on the back to actually stay in place.

The ad is stated as such: "JOMMIE CHEN Garage Floor Mat Under Car 7.4x17 Feet Waterproof Rubber Backing Layer Absorb Liquid Protects Floor from Spills, Drips, Splashes and Stains Washable and Reusable" It leads you to believe this might be like a sturdy felt covered rubber mat similar to a vehicle floor mat. Well it is the flimsiest plastic like material on one side with a flimsy layer of felt on the other side. If it is some kind of rubber it is as thin as a coat of paint. It does not come on a roll like most products do so it will roll out smooth and flat. It is folded up in squares leaving pinch marks everywhere in the material that don't seem to come out then shipped in a box. It also leads you to believe that the "Waterproof Rubber "Backing Layer" " would be the bottom of the matt making the other surface easy to wipe up spills off of. Not so. It appears backing doesn't mean the backside. "Backing" is something that goes against another surface not above it. So if you use it felt side up and spill oil on it you are unable to wipe it up off of a smooth surface. You now have to wash and scrub and dry it. Totally impractical. The first picture is the ad picture. The other two are what I received. It might be fine for a pet liner or shelf liner but it is useless in my opinion for a garage or shop floor like it is advertised. My advice, Don't buy it. Additional info: I have left this matt in the hot sun for 3 days hoping the creases from them folding it instead of rolling it would come out with heat. No such luck.

Fantasic for my driveway, it's perfect to keep oil off

Works as advertised. Have not yet have a major spill . It is used to catch oil drips form my Jeep form ending up on garage floor. I has not reached the point it needs cleaning..

Pluses: There is one. The price is inexpensive. Negatives: In return for low cost, you get a product that comes folded in an envelope, and I doubt if I'll ever be able to get the creases out of the product. The rubber backing is more like soft vinyl and has absolutely no grip to it. So it slides like crazy and if you don't use industrial double sided tape to hold it down, it's a safety hazard. I don't recommend this product.

Not durable enough for my needs

It's perfect! Wanted it to place in the boot of my car to take wheelchair. Perfect as it doesn't slip. Not too thick. Flaps down over bumper, then I fold up and over the wheelchair and shut the boot. Thank you for solving my problem!
