This shelf is much sturdier than it would seem based on the photo!I have 5 kids aged 3-12yo and keeping up with laundry, let alone folding and sorting it, is a full time job. The drawers get so messy no matter how often I sort and its a losing battle, especially since I live in a small home with only 1 closet in the laundry room and the dressers take up so much space in small bedrooms.Enter this shelf- the 20 cube version - each of the kids has a column, with 3 bins for clothes, the bottom for shoes/sandals/slippers, and a bin for misc stuff I find while cleaning.I dont bother folding at this point as I know as soon as a kid decides to use it, they're digging to the bottom and the fold is gone anyway. I let the kids sort it instead. They can toss in based on the label (these are chalkboard labels from dollar tree!) and the color of the bin (also from dollar tree, the 11" ones) denote who the column belongs to (age order for ease of remembering).So far the kids love it, its right by my front door so shoes get kicked off and stashed right away and I'm able to rotate out clothes for the weather easily without spending 3 hours going through different dressers.It was easy to put together, its light enough to move if I need to, and does the job I need it to do.I will mention that the graphic for the 5 wide, 4 tall configuration is very wrong in the dimensions, which makes sense if you think about each cube being roughly 11-12" wide, the final length is just under 5', no where near the 37" that shows on the graphic. To the right it does give correct dimensions of 60x48 but if you're just clicking through the pictures you might not see that. Just an fyi!I love this so much that I plan on getting more of these to store toys, stuffed animals, board games, etc in the future as well as maybe one for my laundry room for overflow and linens.

I love these! They were fun to put together with my little one and are far sturdier than I had expected. I’m going to get some more to put in the bottom of my own closet

Fairly sturdy for just being plastic with metal wires, but it was a pain to put together. The assembly should be simple in concept, but in practice, the plastic clips that hold everything together are very tricky to work with, and the included tiny hammer doesn't really help with that. It cost me well over an hour, and a lot of pain in my hands.Overall, the materials are definitely cheap, but it holds a decent amount of weight, is highly customizable, and the material of the shelves is super easy to clean. Plus, if you need more storage, you can add on additional shelves into the same unit if you buy another set, and you can get fabric drawers to use for individual shelves. The hooks on the side are a great touch. It's the perfect size for my tiny bathroom, to hold various toiletries, pet food, and cleaning supplies, but can be useful in many different spaces. Very useful, and not bad for the price.

When put together right, these shelves are fantastic! Sturdy enough to store clothes.

Very sturdy and made a lot of space in my sons room

I thought it was sturdy at first as I was building it(takes forever) … 2 weeks later it broke bent in half but if you’re going to be putting feathers or books (not heavy) on it you should be fine. It looks great when it’s finished. Just keep it light. When it did break I wanted to buy more pieces so bad because initially you can make it as big as you want and whatever size you like. I’m just afraid it will break on me again.

I love these things, they take up less space than a traditional dresser and I can switch up how they connect so they fit where I need them to.

It's really well built, easy to assemble, they send you enough stuff to do as you please and then some extras! So, I'm way more happy with it than I expected. I even had extra space in these cubes after selling my huge dresser. It looks super cute and wonderful in my room. The storage is great! I'd recommend it if you're trying to downside or need a bit more cause this will hold it! Side note: You gotta hit the baskets separately.
