Prepworks by Progressive Collapsible Mini Produce Keeper - 2 Quart

I originally bought the three-piece set of hard side containers. They are great , but I really love these collapsible ones. I just bought the 2 quart and 4 quart size. These truly do keep your vegetables and fruits fresh a lot longer. I like to buy the mini carrots and if you keep them in a bag they seem to get kind of slimy on the outside pretty fast. I have one container that has been full of carrots for about five or six weeks now. About once a week I take out the container , rinse off the carrots and put fresh water in the bottom. They are nice and crispy and appear as fresh as when I bought them. One of the containers hold three bell peppers very nicely. And when I get down to that last half, I collapse the container to store that last little bit in there without taking up a lot of room and still keeping it fresh. I highly recommend these, but I would definitely suggest that you make sure you were getting the prepworks by progressive brand, as they have a couple other brands out there that looked just like them, even the same colors. One even starts with the word prep works but they are not the same, and warranties on them are not as good. I have six of these so far and intend to get a couple more. They stack nicely in the refrigerator, and are easy to store especially if you collapse them. I store mine on their sides in a row. Absolutely love these

I LOVE these food storage containers. I have found they work amazingly well in keeping lettuce, fruits and other veggies fresh in the fridge for a long time. The instruction on the front make is so easy to follow depending on what you are putting in them. They collapse and store away like a charm. Very durable, well made and nice stylish design. They fit well in the fridge...sometimes I'll have 5 of them at once in there. They make it easy to organize and get the fruits and veggies you want out quickly. I really am amazed how long lettuce will store without getting mushy. My teenager likes them because it makes it so much easier to grab veggies and go and I do think the appealing design makes it more appealing to eat the food inside of them. I am buying these for my family for Christmas presents.

I bought a few of these in different sizes back in May 2016. It's March 2017 now. I liked the idea of being able to collapse them when not in use. I figured buying collapsible units instead of non-collapsible would give me more options. I haven't really had a chance to collapse them and store them away because I'm constantly using them to keep my produce fresh. These containers really work well. Easy to keep clean with a hand wash. The only thing I'm a little sad about is that they aren't even a year old and the green, rubbery, collapsible section is cracking, so I'll need to replace them with something that doesn't collapse.

Awesome product!!! It is sturdy and it’s keeping my guinea pig’s salad fresh! Usually it goes bad long before I can give it all to her, but this is working to keep it fresh at half the space when stored...not that it’s stored much, but with limited cabinet space this was ideal for me to keep her veggies in when I need to, but put in my cabinet when I use the smaller size I bought (same one, just mini) to store her veggies that don’t need a container this size. The top doesn’t sit on very well. I think if I drop it, it will come right off, but it still seems to be sealed enough to keep everything fresh. There are very good instructions on how to store various produce to get the maximum results. I haven’t had any trouble with it squishing down when putting the lid on. I think this is a very good investment for produce eaters of all sizes who live in small spaces!

I bought this almost two years ago. As with other users, I'm noticing a break down/crack in the wall of the container where it folds. It's still usable for now, as long as I don't collapse it when putting it away, but I don't know how much longer I'll be able to keep using it.It definitely keeps my lettuce/greens fresh for longer, but I'm thinking I should have gone with the model that doesn't collapse-- what I would have given up in storage space, I'd have been saving in replacement costs.

Holds a large amount of cherry and it doesn't take up a lot of storage space.

I bought a 4 quart version of this locally and have used it very successfully for storing produce. Then I saw this 2 quart size and have LOVED it as a compost container in my sink. The size is small enough so I can still use the sink, and usually works for one day's compost. The cover keeps the smell out of the kitchen and the holes in the bottom let the water drain making wrapping the compost in newspaper a snap.Then it blipped to use the same 2 quart container to hold the wet humidifier and other parts for my Respironics APAP machine. It works like a charm :-) Folded, it fits into the carrying case on top of the machine, and it allows the parts to dry without getting water on the desk.UPDATE: 12/15/15 - I bought 3 of these. After about 3 months of use the green plastic is cracking at the folds, even though I seldom expand and compress them. The one I am using for compost got holes in the middle of the walls and really icky stains that won't come out. They do keep produce fresh --- cilantro for up to 10 days --- but I will not buy them again.

This product was received rapidly and in good shape. It worked properly like it should. It is convenient to use expanded for vegetables then collapses to a smaller size for storage. We had one previously that worked for years and finally wore out. We were glad to get this replacement.
