Definitely works! Helped me get my skin back…
My skin went through hell last year. It was painful, embarrassing, and left me with tons of hyperpigmentation that wasn’t there before. My skin texture also suffered a bunch. I tried an expensive laser treatment that only made things worse, which left me even more depressed about my skin situation. At this point, I figured I didn’t have anything to lose by trying the “slow and steady” approach. I turned to this hoping it would address the hyperpigmentation problems. This wasn’t the only product I started with - I also added a micellar water to help cleanse my skin beforehand, daily extra strength peel pads by another brand, and a liquid to help clear my pores from another. Let’s just say I didn’t have high hopes going in, especially after shelling out big bucks for someone to shoot lasers at my face, but I figured I had nothing to lose. I think I maybe tried another product or two, but I’ve already forgotten what they are because I quickly determined which ones were working for me. I could tell pretty quickly that this was working for me. I actually made a point to take “before” pictures so that I could take “after” ones so I would be able to tell for myself if anything was working. The pics I’ve added here are almost exactly one month apart, are not edited except to zoom in and black out portions of my face, and are taken in the same position in the same room that only has one light source so the lighting and everything is as close to the the same as I could get it. I was happily shocked after I started seeing actual results! I was so excited that I could count myself among the people who had good experiences with this product! I used this almost every night of the week, and used it as the final step in my skincare routine. While I still have a ways to go with my skin, I’m fine with that. I haven’t had any cystic acne since I started this new skincare journey. My skin looks almost normal again. The spots of hyperpigmentation are definitely fading. My skin texture is improving. After I was feeling like this had done everything it could for me, I switched back to two RX creams through a D2C subscription service: one with tretinoin/azelaic acid/niacinimide/tranexamic acid, and the other with hydroquinone/kojic acid/hydrocortisone/azelaic acid. The only thing that I know can’t be helped by topicals is the issue of skin laxity that I think came from the laser treatment (or at least it was made much worse by it), so I would like to try a series of professional microneedling to address that soon. Anyway, all in all, I think this did exactly what I hoped it would do, and it was worth the investment for me. It’s not cheap, so that alone makes it not for everyone, but if you have similar issues I was having, and you manage your expectations appropriately, *and* are able to afford this, I say don’t hesitate. My only gripe with it is that it is a little sticky, and sometimes I feel like it’s hard to get the past but out of the bottle. While I do love this product and want to cycle it back into my skincare regimen, the price has me looking for alternatives since there is a lot of competition in the marketplace. I’ll edit this in the future if I end up circling back here after an unsuccessful search. However, I personally do not regret starting with this product (and the others I mentioned) in order to get my skin to a good place again. I’m thankful for this product, and it’s good to know it’s there if I should ever need to return to it, though I hope I won’t! Oh - and whether you try this or not, **make sure you use sunscreen every day**!!! That might be one of the single best things you can do for your skin. Whatever you try, good luck! I hope you find what works for your skin!

If you’ve been on the fence, don’t walk, RUN. 🏃♀️ This serum is absolutely worth it.
One month update: Coming back to update after one full month of consistent use, and I’m even more impressed. Several of my liver spots have faded completely, and the remaining dark spots continue to lighten. My skin tone is noticeably more even, smoother, and brighter overall. This is hands down the most effective product I’ve used for dark spots, and the results have only gotten better with time. Note: First picture is 9 days after use, second photo is 30 days of using Murad correcting serum. I’ve struggled with stubborn dark spots and uneven texture for a couple of years now, and NOTHING has made a real difference until now. After just 9 days of using the Murad Rapid Dark Spot Correcting Serum, the results speak for themselves. My dark spots have noticeably faded, my skin tone looks more even, and everything just looks smoother and healthier overall. I wasn’t expecting results this fast, but Murad seriously delivered. My skin has a glow now that I haven’t seen in forever.

A must-have product
For years, I've battled with stubborn dark spots and hyperpigmentation left behind by sun damage and old breakouts. I've tried numerous products, but nothing has delivered results like the Murad Rapid Dark Spot Correcting Serum. It has been a fantastic purchase and a true game-changer for my skin. The serum has a lightweight, almost gel-like texture that absorbs quickly and feels great on the skin. I was a little apprehensive about the combination of patented Resorcinol Technology, Tranexamic Acid, and Glycolic Acid, as I have somewhat sensitive skin, but I've experienced no irritation or redness. I've been using it every morning and evening, following up with SPF during the day. Within about two weeks, I started noticing a visible difference. The darker spots began to lighten, and my overall skin tone looked much more even and radiant. It didn't happen overnight, but the consistent improvement has been truly impressive. Pros: Visible Results: My dark spots have faded significantly in a short time. Effective Ingredients: The combination of acids and patented technology really works. Gentle: It's powerful but hasn't caused any irritation on my skin. Quick Absorption: The serum sinks in fast, making it easy to layer with other products. Cons: • Price: It's definitely an investment, but given the results, it's worth every penny. This is a fantastic purchase, and I can't recommend it enough to anyone struggling with dark spots. It's the only product that has given me a noticeable and lasting improvement.

Good dark spot serum!
This is a good dark spot correcting serum. I have been using it for a while and I see improvement in my skin. It takes time to fade the dark spots. The serum absorbs quickly into my skin and I don't feel any tingling sensation when using it. Price is higher than other brands.

Fades but doesn’t eliminate sunspots
Works great to fade sunspots on face! Not totally gone but a faded version so not as noticeable!

Works wonders
I will probably use this serum until i die. It has completely changed the texture of my skin for the better. Does what it says it does. Completion is more consistent and I’m noticing fewer dark spots. I started using this after I had a terrible break out of ingrown hairs in my beard. I wanted to try a clean shaven look but my skin was so hyper-pigmented in places it made me very self conscious. Using this serum everyday is causing these spots to fade away. My skin soaks it up. Haven’t had any irritation or issues with daily (some times twice a day) use.

Harmful to the face
It burned my skin, drew blood under my eyes. I would not recommend this product to be used on the face. About 10 days later I had rash over my entire face. It did nothing like what promised. It’s a dangerous product.

Be patient, it really does work
My experience is that this Murad product does a good job on the dark spots on my face from sun exposure. The product works slowly and does not irritate my skin. Most surprisingly, I’ve had several compliments about how good my skin looks since I started using the product- hydrated, radiant, more even skin tone. Definitely recommend giving it a try.
