I got this sentence building game for my first graders, and they absolutely love it. The word cards are colorful, sturdy, and easy for little hands to handle. It’s a fun way to practice sight words, phonics, and grammar all at once. My students enjoy building silly sentences, which keeps them engaged while still learning. It’s also flexible—I can use it for whole-group lessons, small groups, or centers. Definitely a great resource for early readers!

Comes with plenty of cards for sentence practicing at 1st grade level. Perfect size for kids hands to hold and to read.

We have been using these to go along with our books and I think my child really enjoys building sentences with these. I will start the sentence off like "I see a ..." and let him fill in some other pieces then have him say the sentence he created. This gets him engaged which is very hard to do sometimes. I separate each category in a ziplock bag so I can get to what I need faster. I wish there were more though.

I am homeschooling my 1st grader and she loves making sentences with this. It keeps her thinking and busy. If your little one needs more practice reading this is a must.
