I have bought this several times. It has helped our family prevent and get through many illnesses. It is easy even for children to take - just add it to a little juice or honey water if they can't handle it in plain water yet. Taking vitamin c that is buffered is much easier than straight ascorbic acid, both in taste and ease on the stomach. I have bought this specific brand several times. Good price

Works well. What else do you want me to say that I use this in some World war II experimental coffee mixture to develop film. Nah you don't want to hear all about that. Just be glad that we're not in a rationing state. And you can get black and white photo chemicals.

Really like this. No taste at all. I mix it in with my electrolytes and other supplements.

I bought this to use after I go swimming. I swim nearly every day in an indoor pool. My skin gets very dry and itchy as a result. In the past I would lie awake at night for a long time itching when my sheets rubbed my skin. One night when I couldn't fall asleep, I did a little online research. This is where I read that this powdered form of vitamin C dissolved in water would deactivate the negative effects of chlorine. I use 1/2 teaspoon to 1/2 cup of water distilled water. Or, if more than one person is using the batch. Dissolve 1 teaspoon in 1 cup of distilled water. This cannot be made too far ahead because the vitamin C degrades rapidly once it is dissolved in water. For it to be most effective, use in within 24 hours. Remember that you must use distilled water, which is only about $1.39 a gallon where I live. Don't use tap water. Chlorinated tap water will deactivate the vitamin C before you are done swimming. I put the dissolved solution in a spray bottle and spray myself, swimsuit and all, rub my skin and then rinse. I cannot describe how much better my skin feels. This really worked for me. If you are a regular swimmer, and especially if you have dry, itchy type of skin, I highly recommend that you give this a try. I only make it by the 1/2 cup now since it loses its effectiveness after 24 hours. On occasion, if I swim at night and again the next morning, I'll use the same batch. This is an easy solution since it is relatively inexpensive and the product mixes easily.
