Makita LD050P Laser Distance Measure 0.05-50M

Easy to use and accurate , serves its purpose

Todavía lo uso como principal herramienta de medida en mi trabajo. Se me ha caído se ha mojado, lo he pisado... y como si nada. Sigue con la misma precisión que cuando lo compré (comparándolo con otros equipos y con cintas métricas), és muy manejable y, para el trabajo diario e intensivo es ideal, resistente y hace honor a la marca.

Definitivamente mas útil que un flexometro. Para realizar un levantamiento de planta de algún edificio es útil, pero se requiere de 2 personas para agilizar la toma de medidas. Es ligero, lo cual es una ventaja y a la vez desventaja, ya que no se siente tan robusto. No pude medir una longitud de 60 metros, pero bueno, es hasta 50 metros.

I bought this to replace a Bosch laser measure, that had finally given up. Being a fan of Makita tools, I opted for this, the LD050P. The 50 indicating that it will measure to 50m. Physically, it is small and light. Measuring 110mm x 45mm and with the 2 AAA batteries inserted, weighing in at 96g. Build quality is nice, although, I would have like to have seen some rubberised protection on the outside. It comes with a nice soft case, and a lanyard. Feature wise, as well as standard distance measuring, it has the ability to perform floor area, room volume and 2 and 3 point pythagorus height calculation. You can change the base point to be from either the front or the back of the laser measure. It also has a constant measure mode, where the distance will continually change as you move. The laser is nice and bright, although, like all, a challenge to see outside in daylight conditions. Where it really shines, is in the most important category of accuracy. It is super accurate. It's repeatibility is excellent. Taking 5 different readings from the same position, there was no change in measured distance at all. Comparing distance with manually measured distances, it was spot on every time. Overall, I'm very pleased with this measure. It is too expensive and for the money it should have some kind of rubber protection boot, but as it performs its purpose of measuring so accurately, I happily award it 5 stars. A bit expensive compared to its competitors...but the damn thing is pretty much 100per accurate. Game changer for doing quotes.
