Ok for the job
It is marginally thick and heavy, actually on easy-to-bend side. It gets the job done, I would prefer it a bit thicker.

I use them for running charcoal at my hookah lounge. They are the best tongs I've ever purchased. They don't deform easy, they grip well, they are the perfect length and the curved pointed ends are great for messing with the charcoal inside of a heat management setup. I know they weren't specifically marketed for my particular need, but if they marketed this towards hookah lounges I think they'd sell quite a few.
