Good racket for amateur players
For the price this racket is a great value. The grip on the paddle doesn't last super long but it still has decent spin to it. It is also pretty light weight compared to other paddles i have used, this is probably due to the WBR technology in the handle. I would like to consider myself a pretty competitive ping pong player and this paddle was a great fit for me. If you are looking for a cheap paddle that you can attach yourself to look no further than this one.

Great Beginner Paddle. Has some weight to it.
This paddle has lasted me for over 2 years and definitely stepped up my game. Much better than a walmart one or wooden one. Has some weight to it so make sure your shoulder is warmed up! Upgraded to the Stiga Raptor and am hoping to see a difference.

Great racket.
I recently got back into playing ping pong. My office has a couple tables to play on during breaks and lunch. This paddle is a great upgrade from the standard wooden ones that the tables come with. I have elevated my game a lot. Good control, spin and feel. I am a casual player that just enjoys playing. This paddle helps me to hold my own when I play the guys that are better than me.

Plays well - but definitely a little warp to it
I read in a couple of other reviews about quality control issues with these paddles, but I really wanted a paddle that wasn't the cheap-o hard surfaced kind you normally get with a table. I'd been playing ping pong for a few months (with said cheap-o paddles) and here are a few of my impressions about this paddle: -- much better spin control and ball control -- harder to "smash" the ball, so if you're a power player this isn't the paddle for you -- noticeably heavier than a cheap-o paddle. this didn't bother me, but was definitely noticeable -- seems fairly durable, has stood up to 100+ matches with me so far and no signs of wear and tear In terms of the QC issues with these paddles: The top of this paddle is slightly curved. I don't think it affects play too much for people at my level, in fact it took some time to notice that it was even bent. A buddy was looking over the paddle to see if he felt like buying one and pointed it out to me. You have to hold the paddle and look at it from the side, but even then you can barely tell. In summary: Even with the slight bend to the top, it's still a nice paddle. Your ball control compared to the cheap paddles will go way up. It's definitely worth the $25. Next paddle purchase for me will be in the $40 - $60 range, but this is a decent paddle for those looking to make pong a hobby (or see if it's right for them!).

Good paddle for the money
I am by no means a pro at table tennis. However I ordered it since I am in Afghanistan and there isnt much else to do. The paddle is nice and I played with it a few times before I let a linguist borrow it. Now he wont give it back so Ill need to take care of that soon. But for 25 bucks the paddle is well worth it. If your just looking for a decent paddle to play recreationaly this is a good choice.

These are very good intermediate rackets
These are very good intermediate rackets. I've used STIGA rackets all my life and love them. For the price, you really can't ask for more. Yes, they are not the absolute best or second best rackets you will find, but you have to compare the performance to the price. If you want to spend in the $20's and $30's range, I think this is the best you can get. Nice friction on the ball and definitely surpass the baseline rackets by a landslide.

Good side of the paddle is great.
As someone else wrote in their review of a Stiga paddle, the company's quality control is rather lacking. Fresh out of the package, one side of the paddle already had a significant dent in it. However, I decided to keep the paddle and just use the good side and have noticed definite improvement in both control and spin. Granted, I'm an amateur who only plays at work, so chances are just about any paddle aside from the cheap $2 ones stocked at work would help me.

Great Paddle for below competition level players
I used it for 6 months, very durable, and I was able to really learn the game with it and play equal to the old guys in chinatown. I just upgraded to the Stiga Carbon Pro (63 bucks) and while that upgrade was definitely necessary for me to be a real competitive player, the apex will do its job for you if you only play once or twice a week
