Non ha un microcontrollore Atmel per cui molte librerie esterne già esistenti per arduino non sempre funziano. Il bluetooth non si gestisce come uno shield (quindi con i comandi AT tramite seriale). Può funzionare sia da client che da server (e se funziona da server può gestire più client). Senza dubbio è molto performante ed ha consumi energetici davvero bassi. I campi applicativi sono più vasti del semplice arduino + shield bluetooth Da prendere se si ha il tempo di studiarlo per bene.

Ich verwende es in Verbindung mit dem Sense-Board als drahtlosen Head-Tracker für eine R/C-Fernsteuerung. Dabei sitzt das Sense-Board an der Videobrille und kommuniziert per Bluetooth mit dem BLE-Board, welches am L/S-Eingang des Senders angeschlossen ist. Aber man kann auch das BLE-Board als Tracker verwenden, wenn man auf etwas Luxus verzichtet. Das passende Projekt findet sich auf GitHub.com.

There is a family of nanos. One member of the family has a proximity sensor. Waving your hand near the sensor triggers a reset. The other member of the family is this one. It has no proximity sensor. You have to press the reset button, or bridge D2-Gnd to reset. If you don't need a sensor you can save yourself about $12.00 by going with this one. I am building a head tracker so it would have been nice to have a proximity sensor.

Un acierto de Arduino utilizar un sistema operativo con conexión de redes y seguridad incluida. El bluetooth va muy bien y puedes utilizar tanto las librerías oficiales de Arduino como las librerías para mBed. Lo único que echo en falta es alguna forma más sencilla para utilizar un depurador externo. Hay que soldar cables sobre la superficie, algo incómodo.
