Hooks can come off
I like the product I had to use a different method other than the hooks supplied because the cord would pull out of hooks to get the tension I wanted. Time will tell if material holds up or deteriorates like everything else these days.

Ideal for custom tarp/cover/netting hold-downs
Am on my 2nd purchase of these this year,.Pros: 1/4" seems ideal for holding down tarp cover, for ATVs, snow blowers, lawn tractor. A 3/8" cord is perfect for tarping big trailers and anything big or subject to strong winds, cord fits through 1/2" grommets. I found stretch factor closer to 50%, not 100. Works well.Polyester seems to be highly UV and abrasion resistant. The 1/4" fits easily through smaller grommets, just tie a tight overhand know to secure.Includes plenty of end hooks (hint, place a dab of Gorilla glue for a permanent hold); ball bungees serve to keep cord neatly wrapped. Also using these to support young trees from whipping during heavier winds. Cord allows movement but not limbs breaking. Also for securing camo netting over large outdoor items like camper, water tanks, most anything you want to hide.

Great for kayaks
The 1/4 diameter, 52 foot kit was perfect for two touring kayaks in need of new bungees. I only had about 4 feet leftover!(One is Wilderness systems and the other a Boreal Design)Measure the diameter of your eyelets by checking it with a 1/4 inch drill bit. If there's NO play in it, better go with the smaller diameter 1/5 cord. Mine had plenty of play in the bit, but it was tight on the cord suggesting that this cord is just fractionally larger than a quarter inch diameter. I was able to easily push/wiggle it through all of them though.Hope I get 5 years out of it. It's really quite fun, like putting new laces on your favorite shoes.
