Oh my goodness!!!! I looked through this book and feel it is so impressive. Pictures, layout, questions - asks the right questions. Enough room to write what you need to, keep in mind this is not a journal where you might write endlessly. Many Moms "think" they will write on every topic, in reality most don't and forget to take the book out I have seen. This book is spiral bound and lays flat nicely for you to write or just flip through. Nice hard cover as well. The pages are not flimsy and the print is so pretty. Honestly, it is well worth the price. If your unsure, which I was, do not be. Just buy this, trust me you will not be disappointed nor will the new parents. There are books that go through age five, I have bought one of these as well for same recipient since it may be their only child and will want those memories as well. I absolutely know my daughter will love love love this book and am anxious to give it to her.

I love this baby book! I had originally purchased a book from a baby store and it was so bland. I just could not get excited about filing in the information! I saw this book at my local papersource and just had to have it! Luckily, Amazon had it for about $10 cheaper! If you was to record every single detail for your babys forst year then this book may not be for you. It has plenty of room for all the necessary information, plenty of pockets, room for photos, and a pull out chart to measure hight! I love the illustrations and the pop out pages! So cute! This book is for my son and I feel that it is gender neutral. This book is absolutely perfect!

I really love the pictures in this book. I will say that it is only for the first year. There is room to write little notes on the side. It’s a little bit too templated. I will probably still buy this again because it is just so cute. There are pop out pictures that I think my little guy would like to look at when he gets a little older.

I am blown away by this baby book!! I spent weeks looking at different ones and finally landed on this one based on the illustrations I saw online and in reviews. It does not disappoint!!! The book is thoughtful and includes highlights from each stage of pregnancy through the first year. The prompts are fun and easy to answer and not too detailed or random where it could get annoying. The illustrations are incredible and bring me so much joy! I know my baby will love flipping through this as she grows! I included pictures of some of my favorite pages and ones that weren’t already in other reviews. You won’t regret buying this baby book!

I wanted a baby book, but I really did NOT want an overly precious, saccharine mess, and so many baby books seem to fit that profile. I also didn't want to pretend I was going to keep filling a book out for five (!) years. When did that become standard? Oof. This book covers pregnancy to birth to the first birthday, and it does it with perfectly cute, gender neutral illustrations and page layouts that never made me roll my eyes even once. I would happily give a copy of this book as a gift, and am looking forward to filling out more of my own after the baby is born. There is a page dedicated to godparents, which may be annoying for a non-religious family; there is gendered wording ("mom" and "dad") throughout; and the fill-in-the-blank family tree might be a little awkward for a thoroughly single parent, but to be honest those things are always going to be hard to avoid. It wasn't a problem for us; just a heads-up for anyone who may want to know more about the book content.

this baby book is so adorable! I wasn't planning to buy a "fill-in" baby book and have originally purchased a customized notebook to make my own baby journal. But now, 6 months later after my baby's birth I have accidentally found this here. This is the best baby book so far I've seen online (i've looked through so many of them online, and did not like any). the price is just unreasonably cheap compared to other options out there. I have also seen this book in a local Fireworks store for $35! The book is heavy and big, pages are very tick, carton-like. There are few envelopes for stuff like ultrasound pics, first cut baby hair, etc. There is also a folded piece that is a actual growth chart, you take it out of the pocket, and it fold out to a growth chart were you mark your baby's age next to the length. Also there is little wheel inside the page which you turn to set the baby's zodiac! Love the family tree too. Can;t believe it is only 17 bucks!!

I was getting a baby journal for a baby shower and did some shopping around. This book is so gorgeous - it has a storybook feel, the art is that of a classic children's tale not the bright and loud imagery type. They also have multiple places for you to tuck mementos into the book. If you're looking for a very detailed, classy baby book, this is for you. However, I returned it for two main reasons: 1) I think this is way too detailed for the friend I'm shopping for. I didn't want her to feel overwhelmed by filling out the journal, and so I opted for something much simpler. 2) There is a slight leaning toward Christian customs, which is not applicable to the friend I'm shopping for. One of the first few pages is for information on the baby's Godparents, which would go unused. Similarly under the holidays section the description clearly indicates Christmas. I want my friend to be able to use the space for whatever she feels is most meaningful in raising her first child.

WOW WOW WOW , FANTASTIC! This is an absolutely lovely baby book. I was overwhelmed when it arrived - the book is much bigger than I expected and has pages and pages of beautiful illustrations, places with envelopes for special momentos and wonderful illustrations. This baby book is Very cute and well designed book The quality of the paper and the binding of the book is fantastic. The book has nice tabs for the different sections. There is plenty of room for adding photos, stories and comments.

Such a beautifully made baby book. Not the usual type and lots of cute drawings and space to write about your baby. The price is also not so bad. I highly recommend it!
