Nioxin was recommended because I have fine, thinning hair. Even when my hair is super short, shampoos, conditioners, detanglers, and hair-thickeners will weigh it down at the roots. Oftentimes, this is still a problem with dry, fragile hair, but with this product, I use it every day, and my hair is weightless and not too brittle. I highly recommend this product for three more reasons: 1. Manageability. 2. Thicker appearance. 3. Tangle-free. The three products included are a mint-based shampoo, a mint-based conditioner, and a lovely thickener that doesn’t weigh my hair down. This is more of a travel or trial set. The sizes are small, but you will find a use for them. I use them when I run out of my larger bottles and do not want to invest in more. This is a great gift sampler, too. You might send these to loved ones to see if they love them as much as you do. They foam up nicely, and you do not need much product to get the maximum effect. This is an excellent value! Enjoy!

No scientific idea why this stuff works, but, from my perspective, it has had a tangible effect on my hair. Pretty happy with the product, even in light of its exorbiant costs.

This kit seems to be helping, however it does take time and patience. I didnt see results for a couple of weeks and now I can see that I'm losing less hair. I've seen people complain about the serum making hair greasy, but I put mine in right from the shower while it's still wet and it dries just fine. Sometimes it will be kinda crispy like putting gel in your hair, but you can easily run your fingers thru it or brush it out. I don't have a problem with the serum that way. The smell is a bit strong, and the conditioner feels cool and almost tingly, like a menthol feel and I can still feel it after I rinse but it goes away soon. I bought another kit so I'll see how it does the 2nd time around.

It feels great on your scalp. I did notice a bit less shedding after prolonged use. Definitely getting the #2 step next
