This is an amazing reishi extract that is quite potent. It helps support relation and sleep for me. So I have been looking at various reoshi extracts to find the best. I contacted the Seller and asked how it is made, and this is a dual extract. It is standardized, too, and each capsule is equivalent to 7g of reishi mushrooms! I take one capsule at 6:30PM and another at 7:30PM and by bedtime I am relaxed and ready for a good nights sleep. This contains only the fruiting body and no filler. No fluff. No grains or mycellium, just the best part of the mushroom.

ive read so many reviews and i didnt see anyone talking about the thirst factor. a quick google search showed that reishi is a diuretic. which sucks because i am already thirsty from perimenopause. cant return since ive opened it and took one. bummer. reishi gives good feels. it kinda slows you down. when you feel the crunch of life and you take one, it helps life feel not so crunchy. freshcap has great products. i just wish i had known this has pretty massive diuretic properties. at least the horrible thirst/pee lasts about 6 or 7 hours. its not permanent and does go away after a while.

When I first received these, one of the capsules managed to be busted so there was reishi powder in there all over. That said, it was well-packaged with the safety seal present, the moisture packet inside along with the cotton pad in there. So, I'm not sure why it happened, but yeah. As for the use of these, it's hard to say if anything miraculous happened for my health. I take two capsules a day and have been for over a month now. Personally, I have been switching my own supplements and medications, so I have experienced side effects from other medications that I was taking myself off of. I don't know if any of the side effects I had would have been worse without these reishi supplements or not. I did, however, notice that while the two people I live with in close proximity had gotten severely ill--I did not. I was experiencing fatigue from the side effect of getting off a medication, but other than that, I did not get sick like the people in my household did--so perhaps it was these reishi supplements! Initially, I wanted to try to take these to help with my anxiety/stress management. Generally, I've been under a lot of physical stress with changing medications, so I can't really comment on the effectiveness of that. I don't take these reishi supplements at night-time, so in terms of being able to sleep well? I continue to struggle to fall asleep, but I haven't gotten as many nightmares as I used to since starting this reishi supplement. All in all, I think it does do something at least and if you have been wanting to try to take your health into your own hands--I would recommend it. As a spiritual person, I see the value in consuming these mushrooms daily, so that adds to my experience of why I take them too.
