W1197 38 Piece Compact Tool Set with Zipper Case

As a roadside technician for a large tow company this little case has every I need to tighten down batteries for members and hopefully get them going. So it don’t cost them a tow. Fits in my small tool bag nicely. Would buy it again.

I disagree with a few reviews which give this tool set a poor rating. Frankly, for what it is designed to do, I find it perfect. I purchased this tool set to keep in my Mazda Miata where space is limited and tools are needed for road emergencies. The screw driver (with multiple bits), socket wrench, and pliers are adequate for small roadside repairs such as cleaning corroded battery terminals, etc. The crescent wrench jaws move smoothly and the sockets are adequate for performing small jobs. The flashlight is worthless and I replaced it with a substitute. I also placed a pocket knife in this tool kit. Although advertised to include a breakable utility knife, my kit came with a brass brush which can be used to clean corroded contacts or battery terminals. For the price, this tool kit is more than adequate for what it is intended to do.

I've used this kit only a couple of times, I have it in the car's trunk mostly for emergencies. It's a nice compact case, with a lot of different tools in it. I'd be fine with it having the "driver" for the sockets instead of a ratcheting wrench, except- as I just learned yesterday when I used it for the first time- the driver in mine does not work. The sockets don't stay on because the ball bearing was defective (it doesn't spring up), *and* the plastic handle spins on the metal rod when attempting to use it. Even with the other tools in the kit being worth the price, it's now hard to trust this as an emergency kit.

It’s always nice to have a small toolkit you can keep in the car, for unexpected situations. This kit almost fits the bill perfectly. I added a 1/4” ratchet to it and that about completed it. I also tossed in a few zip ties, pocket knife and a lighter. All things that come in handy when you least expect it. Also, the end of the screwdriver has a 1/4 end. So you can put your ratchet on it and use it as an extension! Nice little bonus.

Very useful, light tool kit fir varying activities around the house or car.

This toolkit has served a lot in my DIY troubleshooting for my car. Contains many handy tools which are very helpful. It has got an electric tester as well as pressure gauge which i found to be very useful. These items generally are not seen in other kits. Also its super affordable. Go for it.
