Corsair Dominator Platinum 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 2666MHz C15 Desktop Memory

I run 2 of these kits in a low end ASUS MB, currently can't get a working ASUS-E WS, had 2, both 00 code no post so they are in an ASUS X99-A currently. Which the ASUS X99-A is a pretty sweet MB even though its on the lower end. Makes me wonder now if I even need a high end one other than maybe life span but I can buy close to two of the lower end for 1 higher end anyway. Pros Nice looking Approved and works with ASUS MBs, 4 or 8 sticks (1 or 2 kits, 2 in my case). Runs solid at rated speeds, 2666, you just have to manually OC. 64GB works with 2 different kits, I kept each kit in the same color/memory bank so they didn't mix and had a better chance working together. They didn't sell a single kit with 64GB but should (I think they might now). Cons Runs hot really need the Corsair Air cooler not included in the kit and should be Won't run auto XMP in new X99 MBs not just me many people have complained. May not be the memory or may but should have worked closer together with the MB manufacturers to insure this simple feature works. Not getting my rated speeds with XMP enabled (basically MBs won't post when XMP enabled to get rated speeds). Auto XMP has always worked for me in the past first time it hasn't ever over many many years of sticking true to Corsair. Manually OCing the CPU and memory (Been a few years since I did this so had to brush up my skills) I was easily able to get 4000MHz on the CPU and 2666MHz on the memory. These are very modest OCs with low voltages that I can run 24x7 I wasn't trying to set any records and I had 1 boot failure OCing which in the past I had many. The 1 failure was uping the BCLK which actually I ended up leaving at 100 at the end of the day and just bumping the multiplier. Very sweet and easy to do. I haven't tried to tighten the timings yet but I suspect that shouldn't be too hard and from what I read the third tier is where you get the most bang now days which is interesting. I am a very happy camper and highly recommend this memory it is awesome. I custom build fast computers for professional use. CAD/BIM, and analytical workstations. No overclocking. Crashing is absolutely not an option. This is hands down the best memory I've used, running at the stock speed of 2666 Mhz. Before x299, my platform of choice was x99, and the 2133 Mhz version of this item was my memory of choice. I started using the Dominator series of Corsair memory even before then, when it was still DDR3. It seems that the quality control is much higher than that of their cheaper memory lines. It's never been particularly cheap, but it's usually worth it when replacing memory down the line is absolutely not an option.

This stuff was expensive, but it does seem to be a great product. I don't game, but it's noticeable in my workstation for building and testing VMs. Performance on my Asus X99 Pro USB3.1 is outstanding. I don't really care anything about the lights in the heat spreaders, but if you go for that kind of thing, you won't be disappointed.

Pricy (I got 32gb), but very fast and functional ram. Works very well with my MSI Z170A Gaming M5, though for some reason sleep mode does not work, but not worth taking a star away. Ram lights up too for an added bonus.

Runs great, looks great, priced relatively reasonably, but you know it's just scratching an itch that will never go away. You'll never have enough RAM in your life. But you can come close. . .

Corsair is also a product. 8GB 16GB trying to configure a set of two think it was hot for a set of four 4 GB to order 4. DOMINATOR also looks good set of 4 configuration. Now, if someone plans to buy a product it must be encouraged to four sets of configurations.

Item is not matching the serial numbers and the wrong item arrived. I ordered as advertises one set of 4x8GB memory (total 32GB) Arriving: 1!!! 4x4GB memory part. Serial numbers are off from the item and the package. Not even four pieces fit in the package.. Buyers beware.

同じものを2セット購入しました。 Windowsのメモリー診断でエラーとなるため確認したところ、メモリー本体に貼ってあるシールに書かれているバージョンが古い方が診断エラーとなっていました。 Amazonさんで交換していただき、届いたモノでは診断エラーは発生していません。診断エラーが発生していないモノとバージョンは同じでした。 バージョンによりヒートシンクの向きが反対なのを後から気づきました。同じ向きに差しているのに、ヒートシンクの背に書かれている”DOMINATOR DDR4”の文字が左右反対から始まります。

Ram compatte e di ottima qualità, materiali premium, dissipatore posto nella parte superiore per mantenere una temperatura minima di 29 gradi centigradi ad una massima di 44 nelle sessioni di gaming o rendering più intense. Nel dettaglio lascio qui sotto elencate le loro caratteristiche: -CL15 -16 GB (2x8) -2666 MHz (tranquillamente overcloccabili per l'ottima dissipazione che hanno) -DDR4 (Ultima tecnologia di ram in commercio, per chi non lo sapesse) Che dire, sono eccezionali, Corsair come marchio rappresenta la professionalità e la qualità dei loro prodotti, e con queste ram si conferma ancora una volta un TOP DI GAMMA nel mondo della componentistica ad alto livello.

Ich habe die ersten dieser RAM-Riegel 2016 eingebaut 2 x 16GB und es ergab sich bis heute eine wunderbare Freundschaft. Der Speicher ist ohne Fehl & Tadel. Hier nicht genannt werden dürfende berufliche Aufgaben verlangten nun auf ordinäre 64GB RAM "upzugraden"! Ich war in Sorge, dass es den Riegel vielleicht gar nicht mehr gibt; weit gefehlt, Jeff Bezos hatte ihn natürlich sofort vorrätig. Natürlich gibt es für das gleiche, nicht unerhebliche Geld auch vermeintlich Schnellere, aber die hätte ich erst sinnvoll nutzen können, wenn ich die vorhandenen Riegel auch austauschte, sonst würden sie bekanntlich die neuen 3200'er ja auf "ihr Niveau" (2666 MHz) runterbremsen. Außerdem haben viele vermeintliche Alternativen nicht die wunderbare und pragmatische (robuste) Architektur der Dominator Platinum, speziell ihr Überhitzungs- bzw. Übertaktungspotenzial. In geistiger Umnachtung bekam ich zunächst einen Schock, da ich auf meiner (geheimen) Platine das RAK-Kit drehen musste, um sie in ihre Steckplätze zu bekommen; ich Depp hatte vergessen, dass es so etwas seit Langem gibt und habe erst zwei- drei Minuten gefummelt, um sie wie die "alten" Riegel reinzubekommen. Amateur eben! FAZIT: Die Dominator Platinum Speicher sind auch 4 Jahre nach Erscheinen immer noch eine Pracht und zeigen jedem Intel-Prozessor seine Grenzen auf! PS: Natürlich gibt es die gleichen Dominator Platinum Riegel (ohne nennenswertes Aufgeld) heute auch mit 3.200 MHz!

All 4 of these installed just fine into my motherboard and did not interfere with my Noctua DS15s CPU cooler. Didn't realize at first that these would operate at 2133MHz once I got the system up and running. Discovered you have to turn on XMP so that your bios will recognize and run at the 2666MHz spec. Other than that, all 4 are running just fine.
