Royal Canin Feline Health Nutrition Indoor Adult Dry Cat Food, 7 lb Bag

I recently switched my indoor feline to Royal Canin Indoor Adult Dry Cat Food (15 lb), and I could not be happier with the results. From the first bowl, my cat jumped in with enthusiasm—already a good sign. After several weeks, I’ve noticed real improvements: fewer hairballs, a sleeker coat, and better energy overall. This formula clearly respects the needs of indoor cats (1–7 years old) by providing fiber to help reduce hairballs, moderate calories to avoid weight gain, and highly digestible proteins for good stool quality and less litter-box odor.  My cat used to struggle with hairballs and his litter box habits were less than ideal, but since the change he’s better. The kibble texture seems well designed and he chews it thoroughly—nice bonus for his dental health. The bag is large (15 lb) and offers excellent value considering the quality. I appreciate that it’s tailored for indoor life, helping me feel confident I’m giving him nutrition matched to his lifestyle rather than a generic dry food. If you’re looking for a premium indoor cat food that covers weight management, hairball control and general digestive health, I highly recommend this. It has earned a permanent spot in our pantry.

The kibble size is perfect—easy to chew and well-suited for adult cats. I’ve noticed a real improvement in overall health since switching to this food. My cat’s coat is softer and shinier, digestion seems better, and there’s been a noticeable reduction in hairballs. As an indoor cat formula, it also does a great job supporting healthy weight and reducing litter box odors. Update: 3/13/2026 I have decided to put my cats back on this food because I know that it is the best of the best. I found a much better price at a different store and that price can’t be beat. The best price I have ever seen is at TSC for $49.99, cheaper if you do their subscription. Wow, that’s a big price difference compared to getting it here. I love Amazon and get a lot of supplies from them but will be getting this from now on from TSC. Amazing food though, just the price is too high here. Royal Canin is 1 of the top 5 brands that are WSAVA compliant of dog and cat foods. If you are not aware of the World Small Animal Veterinarian Association (WSAVA), do some quick research. Only 5 brands meet the requirements that WSAVA has set forth and those brands are: Royal Canin, Purina, Iams, Hills & Eukanuba. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ My Siberian & Siamese mixed kittens did very well on the spayed/neutered kitten version so I transitioned them to this one thinking it would work well now that they are over a year. The male cat was vomiting multiple times a week while transitioning them to this food but the female was not having any issues. Eventually the vomiting stopped so I think it was due to the size of Royal Canin pieces being larger than the previous food. Remember that it can take them 12 weeks to fully adjust to a new food. This food does help with reducing stool odor which is an added bonus. My only problem with this food is the cost. It is the most expensive of all dry, high quality cat foods. No rewards point program, no coupons, never on sale on Amazon. Only a $3 price discount for subscribe and save, which is not much.

My 1 year old Siamese cat love these kibbles, sometimes he would choose it over the wet food. These kibble also works great as treat for training. They smell great and the ingredients list looks fine. My cat has been eating this for awhile and has no health issues.

I’ve been feeding my indoor cat with Royal Canin Indoor Adult for a while, overall it’s been a good choice. The kibble size is easy for my cat to eat, and she seems to enjoy the taste. It’s not cheap, but the quality feels reliable and consistent. I also like that it’s specifically made for indoor cats with lower activity levels.

My two cats simply love and crave this food! I switched last year and one of my cats lost the extra weight she had and has more energy than ever. Even of the price is a bit higher than other foods, I know my cats are well nourished and I can count on Royal Canin to keep them healthy.
