Great Replacement for an Original Delta Unifence Fence Arm
Roughly 20 years ago I bought one of these replacement fence arms for a late 1980s Delta Unisaw with a 52” Unifence that I had recently bought at an auction. The previous owner had accidentally cut into the original fence arm with a saw blade, which is why I purchased this item as a replacement arm. I liked the idea that the fence arm had built in T-tracks, which allowed me to mount various items such as Woodstock Board Buddies on the fence to keep boards held down during the cut (do not buy the Woodstock W1104 Board Buddies that appears as a frequently purchased together item – they are potentially dangerous as they do not also push the stock into the fence’s face). I also liked that the fence arm is roughly as long as the original Unifence fence arm, and it is much easier to clamp a sacrificial fence to this fence arm than it is to the original Unisaw fence arm. A few years ago, I noticed that the UHMW sub-fence face was not flat, but rather was slightly mushroomed – I do not recall if this sub-fence originally had this defect, or if it somehow developed over time.Last year I noticed that these fence arms were in stock on Amazon, so I bought another of these fence arms, this time for the Unifence on my late 1980s Delta contractor’s saw that I have owned for 30+ years, after struggling to clamp a sacrificial fence to the original Unifence fence arm. The UHMW sub-fence face is perfect on the new Peachtree fence arm, so I installed the new fence arm on the Unisaw, and moved the older unit to the contractors saw. The Peachtree fence arm is considerably longer than the Unifence fence arm that was on my contractor’s saw, which might be helpful in some situations. The Peachtree fence arm is compatible with the JessEm 04301 Clear-Cut TS Stock Guides using just the top T-track that is closest to the blade (the JessEm stock guides are very expensive, but are much safer to use than the Woodstock Board Buddies, as the Jessem product pushes the boards to the table, and toward the fence). The added weight of the Peachtree fence arm and the JessEm stock guides may make it difficult to smoothly move the fence arm left and right; I found that I often need to remove the JessEm stock guides before changing the location of the fence. Overall, I am very satisfied with both Peachtree fence arms.

Beastly
This is a awesome replacement for the L shaped unifence.

Outstanding quality
Retrofit on an SCM slider. The quality is phenomenal. I wish it had hdpe feet/ pads to slide smoother like the original did. I may have to design some.

great replacement
This is a great replacement fence for the delta unifence. It would have been a 5-star if they used a larger t-slot on the top and sides so that standard accessories could be used without having to change out the t-nuts.

Nice addition
Fills lots of the shortcomings of the original design.

solid piece.
Fit my Daytona brand table saw with any modification. I miss the low fence setting that allowed you to overhang the Formica edge to the fence.
