Why did you pick this product vs others?: I had this same thing years ago and I loved it so when it started to age I replaced it with the same thing

I really like that this strainer adjusts to my sink and is well made. When cooking pasta, I never liked that my old style strainer sat at the bottom of the sink and I had to pour the pasta water out slowly as the drain could not handle the volume and the strainer and pasta would otherwise then be sitting in water that was also touching the sink which isn’t 100% sanitary. I’m very satisfied.

The slide handles are very difficult to use. But at least the mesh has no gaps between it and the rim. So will use until something with better expandable handles comes out

This was such a great find. I wash a lot of fruits and vegetables. This makes it easy and the basket stays secure. I only wish it came in blue!
