Seems good. Definitely not stainless so it should be okay to sharpen when needed.

Years ago I was given a full set of these knives as a gift. But over the years they got lost from moving. And friends borrowing them and not returning them. I’m rebuilding my set. I love them. They are quality made. And they stay sharp for a long time. Treat them right and they will last forever.

Beware ! It’s had 2nd etched on backside of blade, and it’s very much a 2nd in quality, even the wood .
