John Constantine, Hellblazer Vol. 1: Original Sins

かつてVertigoレーベルの顔だったグラフィックノベル、Hellblazerシリーズの第1巻。 いわゆる退魔物で、末期ガンに冒された主人公ジョン・コンスタンティンがデーモンの関わる怪奇事件に巻き込まれ解決していくというのが大筋の流れ。 硬派で頭の回転も早いがハードボイルドとも言い切れない俗物的な性格でヘタレの魔術師コンスタンティンのキャラが絶妙。 オカルトものと言う荒唐無稽な要素を80年代後半の社会情勢を絡ませた世界観に溶け込ませることで妙な現実感が出ている。 地獄と天国の争いや一緒に闘った仲間たちの亡霊などの設定が断片的に出てきますがこの巻では詳しくは語られません。 あとスワンプシングのスピンオフということからそれとのクロスオーバーあり。スワンプシングの概要も知っておくとより楽しめます。

Solamente comentar que me encanta Hellblazer, la historia es genial y el dibujo acompaña muy bien. Además viene con dos números de la cosa del pantano. El "pero" que se le puede sacar es respecto a la calidad de esta impresión, el papel es de baja calidad, me recuerda a los comics que tengo de hace muchos años, el olor que desprende al abrirlo me trae buenos recuerdos... Es una buena compra!

This is where it all began (almost). Jamie Delano's take on John Constantine is gritty, cunning and as definitive as it can be. All the stories are really awesome, and the 2 issue Swamp Thing crossover is also good. Regarding the physical quality, the pages are really better than the other ones that I have, this could be because I received new DC Black Label edition of the book. Delivery was also prompt, and no corner got folded (sigh). Overall, 10/5.

Article in perfect conditions and delivered in time as predicted.I'm very satisfied. Hellblazer doesn't need any description. It's a must.
