Rustic silver earrings with midnight blue labradorite stones

These earrings feature dark blue faceted labradorite stones, also known as spectrolite, that have been wire wrapped by hand with sterling silver. The stones are a VERY DARK midnight blue, but when the light hits them just right, they have a beautiful blue "flash" typical of labradorite. The stones are attached to oval rings that have been hand formed from fine silver, and hammered to achieve a rustic texture. The sterling silver ear wires they hang from have also been hand formed and hammered. All silver has been oxidized to a dark, rustic patina.
