I recently upgraded my drill with the Keyless 1/2"(13mm) Drill Chuck, and I’m thoroughly impressed with its performance. Needed it for a small job. Worked perfectly. Price was right. Good addition to the tool chest.

Failed within 15 seconds. The cheap, soft hardware they use to secure the chuck completely let loose the very first use. Straight into the garbage.

I bought this because my drill died and all I had was my impact. As you can see by my picture, I needed to use a hole saw and this was way cheaper than buying a new drill. I gave 4 stars only because it makes the impacts center of gravity off when adding any heavy attachments. Completely understandable but it is what it is. I would definitely buy it again for the price.

Very Good

I needed something to hold a 3/4 inch bit and this chuck easily accepted that bit. Note that this chuck is not designed to go in reverse as it will unscrew itself from the stem. But it certainly solved my problem as to how to get that 3/4 inch bit inserted in my 3/8 inch drill.

It probably will work in a pinch, but I'm not going to use it. The reason being, it seems too difficult to reliably tighten. I tightened this with two pairs of channel locks and even then, I was easily able to open it back up by hand, too easily if you ask me. I did test it, and had some issues with bit slippage.
