where in Europe is it from?

They're made in Turkey. I don't know why they won't just say that. Be proud of your products people. Instead they say Made in Europe. False advertising.

It was just in plastic, with no spoon.

How many ounces does this hold?

This copper coffee pot has 13.52 US fluid ounces (400 ml) capacity.

Does it work with heating coil type stove?

Yes, my stove is electric. The pot has a flat bottom, and it's fairly thick so it makes contact with several coils and the heat get's distributed nicely. Of course, because of the shortcomings inherent in electric stoves, it's just a little tricky. If you need to quickly adjust the heat, you can't. And with my stove, the center of the coils aren't designed to heat up so I move it off center- but the entire pot bottom then rests on active coils and works fine. The pot itself works fine- you just have to find the ideal temperature that will work. It has to be high enough to get the foaming going but not boil it. Once you nail that, ot works fine. Even though I have an electric stove, of all the ways I can make coffee, it's the best.
