I've put together several of these mini kits. This one has instructions that were not understandable, so I had to go by the pictures. The ends of the lights were very short so I had to very carefully strip some of the plastic off the wire to make a better connection. The wires were grey to black and white to red to connect them to the battery switch box. This might not be the case with other kits. I put the changing color light (two lights total) inside the house by the slightly open doorway. The smaller fence only had room for three posts so I left the fourth one off. Still turns out very cute. I enjoy putting them together and displaying them.
