Excellent Marzipan.

The Battenberg is the cake pictured on the package, and it was in a story book I'd read with my kids. They wanted to try it, and I thought that maybe I could flex my culinary muscles a bit beyond what I normally do and give it a go. I am used to baking regular cakes, muffins, and the like, but this gave me pause. Still, when I opened the package and found the marzipan easy to manipulate and work with, I mostly was able to put together a successful cake. I imagine in the hands of a more capable baker this will do nicely for anything you have in mind. I was able to wrap my cake and trim away the excess marzipan. While mine wasn't as pretty as the picture, it did hold together unlike other marzipan products I've used, so this one's a winner in my book.

Tasty and easy to use and roll for a dessert I made. I was very thankful with its quick arrival too!

Excellent quality marzipan which I used for my Christmas cake as you can see in the photograph. I use this product every year and it is always a big hit and very much enjoyed and appreciated it.

While this product is easy to work with — it was not pleasant to eat — WAY TOO SWEET and bitter than other marzipan I’ve used.

The marzipan is fresh and molds well and best of all tastes good! Becoming a family tradition to make little molded marzipan pigs for the Christmas season. I recall this as a Scandinavian treat.

Perfect for an easy-to-make marzipan icing for a special cake. (Don’t forget to knead the marzipan dough so it will roll out easily.)
