U-System Keg Coupler - Guiness Tap

The coupler works fine, but if you've only ever used a Sankey (Type D) coupler, you need to be aware that Type U works differently. Sankey couplers charging handle engages very easily, with no effort required to get it to latch in place. U Type require you to lean your weight on it and push down hard in order to get it to click into place. If you're expecting it to feel like a Sankey, you'll think it's defective because it won't latch into place. You gotta push!

Says it's a Guinness tap but it's also fits Smithwicks and Harp Kegs.

Ordered back in April and already has broken. Pressure release valve keeps leaking and cant pressurize keg. Cant get ahold of anyone for support.

So far so good with the coupler. It seems to be making a tight connection and operating as it should. The only real problem is the handle length makes putting it all the way down to properly lock it on the keg difficult. The lip of the 5-gal 1/6 keg gets in the way & makes it difficult (not impossible) to push the handle all the way to a locked position.
