Overall nice switch. I just wish they would have spent the few extra cents to powder coat the rack ears the same color as the switch. The steel ears on the white switch makes it look cheap.

Working just fine so far, which is what I expected seeing how it’s a Cisco switch. If I remember I’ll come back and update this in a year or so on the state of the switch. Edit: Lol, Mom had nothing in the office other than the printer and router so I didnt really need it. Left it running anyway and it still works fine. So you can trust its power supply to hold up.

Purchased this switch for my structured wire panel. I needed a compact, unpowered device that could still supply the gigabit speed requirements of my system. It comes with removable ears to rack mount, cutouts on the bottom to hang in a cabinet, or rubber feet for tabletop. The switch appears to be well constructed and includes a lengthy warranty and great customer service. It has been trouble free since I placed it in service so I’m a satisfied customer.

Just took it out of the box, plugged it and connected all existing LAN cables. It worked right away. I replaced a faulty older network switch with the Cisco switch and never again had experienced any problems. I have a small business network with 5 pc, 1 Server and one print server plus the internet router and firewall... it worked inmediately. Network traffic is more stable now.
