This was a MUST for post hip replacement surgery. It fit my toilet perfectly, snapped right on and was tight fit and solid. I wasn't afraid to sit on it because it was super secure. Easy to keep clean. It was easy to take on and off if you are sharing the toilet. Grandkids could even do it!

An excellent item. The finish is similar to the original toilet seat. It is hard, not soft. It’s very comfortable and just the right height (I am 5’5”). Easy to clean. Stable. Sturdy. It has my five star recommendation. Note that it is for the rounded commode, not the elongated one. It is a perfect fit.

This was overall a good purchase. The height was perfect for our very low toilet bowl. No install needed...it just sits on the actual toilet bowl after you lift the seat and lid. Easy to clean and fairly sturdy. The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is that it is quite hard. I purchased this with an upcoming hip replacement surgery in mind. After the surgery, I had a lot of bruising and tenderness in my hip area and this seat was uncomfortable to sit on due to it being very hard material. It would be perfect if there was some cushion to it.

I love this toilet seat riser. Just lift your reg seat and set this down. It's perfect makes it so much easier to get up for people that have bag back or legs. You don't have to sit so far down and try to get up. It's perfect.

If your bathroom is unheated, BurrRRRRrrrrrrr! Yep, it's hard plastic. No give at all, but simple to install and fits perfectly. I'm 5'8 "and 190lbs, and I can report no slippage. Steady and solid. No stars were deducted because it's my fault; I didn't check for padding and didn't consider it being a block of ice at 2 AM in my unheated bathroom. (Very old house and fixed income.) I see some stick-on thin padding on Amazon that should help. Ok, vent time. Although my unit was fine and arrived in great shape, obviously new, the very first video was about someone who was sent an obviously used unit. Yuck. And she had receipts in her video showing that it had been used. So check yours over when you open the box. Now, to be clear. This is not the manufacturer's Fault! It's AMAZON. If you have spent any time reading Amazon reviews, you will find complaints throughout them about customers receiving a USED product. I'll stop here with a final thought. Great product; you will notice a difference in bathroom usage with that extra height.

Slides. Doesn't stay in place and is uncomfortable. Height would be good for lower toilet, but the higher ones make it to tall for keep feet on floor. That is important after knee replacement

Great product, just doesn’t stay well on toilet, slides around. But got me through hip surgery recovery safely.

I've had this for about a month and a half now and I really like it. I had to order a riser because I broke my heel bone and couldn't put any weight on it. I have a shorter toilet and at almost 6' tall that's a really long way down and if you don't have anything to hold on to or have great balance (in the middle of the night), could end up in a bad way. I also have other people in my house I had to consider, so the fact that it's lightweight and easily moved a great bonus. For me being tall this is the perfect height and it doesn't hurt the back of my thighs like some people have mentioned. It's been very helpful for me because of my situation, it's pretty easy to move around/ clean and also very reasonably priced. For me definitely worth the price.
