Great Thread For Darning Socks
This is only a small ball where the yarn is wrapped onto a card tube and a fine thread suitable for a 2mm crochet hook or 2.76 - 3.25 mm knitting needles in Chinese sizing. Made from 100% cotton with a gradient speckled colouring in like an almost pastel rainbow. I bought this for darning my socks as I have decided to avoid chucking sue to the odd hole that appears ( why chuck a perfectly good sock plus good for the environment). This has been perfect for this and yes a bit more expensive than embroidery thread bit I was after something a bit more fun considering I have brightly coloured cotton socks. I would recommend for darning.

Product not fully accurate
This product is accurate in colour however I feel the size was very falsely advertised. On the picture it shows it being crocheted as if it is around a size 4 hook but it's actually just a ball of string. It's around 20cm high all together. However, the quality of it is pretty good and I still managed to make something with it.

This is a lace weight or light-weight sock yarn. I haven’t used it yet, but I’m a long-time knitter and it really looks lace weight to me. There is no info, so you don’t know what you’re getting when you order. The info on the ball band is in Chinese. It’s very pretty, but I’m glad I ordered only one ball. If I do a lace project, I may get more, but then, I would worry about dye lots matching. ☹️
