Never fitted my 9.9 perfectly I had to use clamps to make them hold the water!! However a well made useful product

not good for smaller engines.
Good product for the money but no good for smaller engines under 40 hp as the muffs are not tight enough on the leg.

Very poor fit to a hoselock connector.
This is a poor quality item unfortunately. As per some of the other reviews the connector is a really bad fit for a hoselock connector. I hurt my hand trying to make it fit as you have to push it on EXTREMELY hard to get the water to flow. Without a decent flow of water the engine could overheat and that could be very costly. I took a chance on this item because some of the reviews were ok, but sadly I will have to return it and try to source a better quality item.

Does not fit properly
Does not fit Hozelock fittings but does fit cheap junk garden hose fittings with lots of grease. The Oring is too big for Hozelock.

Life saver
We needed flush muff asap as both our lifeboat engines need flushing out after being out and these fitted the bill with quick delivery by Prime.
