I wondered about Derma Rollers but never knew much about what they were for. I did a little research and it is a micro needling device recommended by dermatologists that helps stimulate collagen in the skin when used regularly (2-3 times a week). This one was recommended as being great for a beginner. That's me. It does not hurt, just little pricks on the skin. It takes about 10-15 minutes to complete the process. You run it over your entire clean face in 3 directions: vertical, horizontal & diagonal. It's recommended that you follow it with a serum so I did a little research and bought COSRX The 6 Peptide Skin Booster. I apply this after I complete the process with the roller. Because you are poking tiny holes in your skin, you want to be sure to clean it BEFORE the first use and AFTER every use. It comes with a hard case for storage to keep it from collecting dust & dirt when not in use. I just sterilize mine with alcohol after using, completely submerging the roller in alcohol for 10 minutes and then laying it roller up and let it air dry. Then I pop it in the case and it's ready to go for next time.. I have completely revamped my skin routine. I'm doing this 2x per week, and it does seem to be making a little difference already. This was a great value for the price and perfect for a newbie to rolling.
