I have purchased this hub twice and they worked as intended both times. Hub is made of plastic so it will strip out and save your more expensive and harder to replace gear box or motor. First hub lasted around two years and on takes about five minutes to replace with basic tools.

The splines inside the old one were worn smooth. It was a pain removing the old one, but the new one was a direct replacement and is working great!

Item came quickly and worked perfectly. These are known to strip out on the inner gear so the drum won't spin full speed and your clothes will be wet. Not too difficult to replace, just hard to remove the wash plate. Watch the YouTube videos on this. This was a direct replacement and buying from other sources are $30+. Highly recommend.

As others have said - perfect fit, but won't last. Expect to get a better replacement. Regardless this is great for a quick fix to get your washing machine in working order while you wait for a stronger part to replace it.

Exactly what you need if your agitator is spinning independently. I’ve never worked on a washer and I was able to do it in under 10mins, the factory hardware is a piece of cheap crap, the teeth were completely worn down when I removed it. Used on my maytag MVWX655DW1. It was a perfect fit and appears to be good quality. No issues installing and it saved me from buying a new washer.

My Maytag bravos washing machine stopped agitating 2 months after the extended warranty. We thought we were going to have to call a repair person which would have cost us about $300. or more. Decided to look up our problem on you tube and found many videos that helped us. Ordered this part, took only 2 days to receive. Put the part in yesterday and works great, this part saved us lots of money 😀

Owner of a Maytag Bravos washer, and let me preface this review by telling the average consumer, you won't need to buy this part if you just don't buy any Maytag washer. They're junk. Bought this model brand new. 1 year in, control board was toast. Wasn't covered by any warranty. Repair tech told me that these models were junk and he would never recommend them to anyone. Maytag agreed to swap it out, mind you it's only a year old. Replacement model came. Has managed to limp through a couple years of laundry, except for the fact that this part keeps wearing out, and in short periods of time. I've replaced this part at least 5 times. I've noticed that it keeps breaking sooner cause it's cheap plastic, so the gears just keep stripping out. I've reduced the size of my loads, which is far smaller than what the old models could handle 2 decades ago. Doesn't seem to matter because, as stated above, Maytags are garbage. Junk. A waste of time and money.

Paid $38.00 for the so called upgraded version thinking it might last longer . Not at all, it lasted 1 day .I had previously bought one from Amazon for $18.00 which lasted over a year. Order 2 of the cheep ones , there all the same.
