Delighted with this!
I'm nearly 60, male and STILL get spots!! What's all that about?!? And yes, they usually do an appearance on a Saturday morning, the day I'm supposed to go out to socialise, and there's a big yellow head on the end of my nose waving and shouting 'helllooooo, can you see me'?!? They are an inconvenience and they do knock one's self confidence. I've tried all sorts of concoctions over the decades and most have helped to one degree or other. This soap however, is a bit of a game changer. I read the reviews and decided it was worth trying even though seven quid for a bar of soap is, I think, expensive. The soap arrived and I used it in the shower every morning. You can get a good lather from the bar. I don't think there is a scent as such, certainly nothing overpowering. I lather it into my face and leave it there whilst I soap everywhere else, a good three or more minutes on my face. Wash off and that's it. Its not an overnight solution, this took three weeks but I can honestly state that I have seen a positive change to my skin all over. I've no outbreaks of spots. I have slight blemishes from my boxing career around the cheeks and they too have slightly faded. Overall, I am absolutely satisfied with this product. Its well worth a try if you suffer skin problems but give it time to work. One negative is the price. They'd sell more if they knocked a few quid off the price for one bar of soap.

Wow!
I was sceptical about if this would really help clear my acne as I've tried all sorts over the years but wow. The difference its made it huge. Don't get me wrong, its not a magic fix but its definitely reduced the severity of my acne.

It works and lasts for ages
This cleared my backne (back acne) up after a week! Smells great too. Been using this for 4 months and it's still going.

Great for body acne and KP
Been using for a few weeks and it seems to keep body acne to a minimum, not completely cleared but definitely a lot better. It also, unexpectedly, really seems to improve keratosis pilaris, it's the smoothest it has ever been and I have tried a million products over the years! This has 100% become a staple in my daily routine.

Good for most, but not for me, or maybe you
Just to note, before I started using this product, I had more or less cleared up my back and shoulder acne with V55max soap, but wasn't a fan of smelling like sulphur all the time, so I switched to Revitale salicylic acid scrubbing soap, which also kept the acne at bay. But at £7.50 per bar, it's a bit expensive when you need two or three a month, which you will if you're using aggressively twice a day, so I decided to try a cheaper option and this Carbon Theory stuff had decent reviews so... I have quite oily skin, this soap definitely helped on the face and chest, but my back and shoulder breakouts, which are by far my worst areas, returned to their usual peperoni pizza like appearance. I used this product liberally and in combination with a silicon body scrubbing brush and it's just not strong enough for agressive breakouts. Still, I have given it three stars because it does work somewhat, and for most people its probably fine. It works into a nice lather, gives your skin a mild, but very pleasant scent, and softer to the touch. But for more severe acne, especially on the back, you will definitely need something with stronger exfoliating ingredients, like salicylic acid. If you have very bad body acne, like cystic acne due to hormones etc, or you sweat a lot at the gym, then I wouldnt bother with this Carbon Theory stuff. V55 is the best Ive tried strength wise, it started noticeably working from day one, and I would recommend if you dont mind smelling like a bin full of rotten eggs, a smell that gets even stronger when you're training and begin to sweat, it's actually quite embarrassing. But I would recommend Revitale over both, as its got the strength, a pleasant smell, and significantly reduced my acne within a couple of weeks.

I have decollage ance 1st time ever as a 40 something.. Risked £8 to try this as nothing else working... After using the whole bar I'm healed... But it DID scratch me to the point of red broken skin scratches like a cat scratch.. . So go gently and don't rub vigorously its not needed

Purchased it for my grandson who is going through puberty and is suffering from severe acne. He loves it and it has cleared at least 50% of his acne so far.

This soap gave me a rash on my forearms. My boyfriend had no reaction but wasn’t good for my skin - I have never experienced a rash from soap before but I would consider my skin sensitive
