How hard is installation?

I'm an amateur, but handy, and I just finished installing one today. First to answer some questions below: the unit comes pre-charged, there's no need for the installer to add freon. However it is necessary to vacuum the lines before you release the freon. I bought a vacuum and a set of gauges for less than $100. My son and my brother may be installing one of these, so we'll be able to use that equipment for them too.
For me the hardest part was drilling a hole through the wall. I mounted the indoor unit on a cement block wall, and it took a long time to drill a two and a half inch hole through that wall.

I did everything myself, the only time I needed any help was when I had my wife keep tension on the wires outside as I lifted the indoor unit up to the wall.

The copper tubing was about 18 in too long for my setup, so I borrowed a flaring tool and cut and flared the tubing to fit. Flaring tools are cheap if you can't find a friend to borrow one from.  Someone recommended to me using Nylog Blue to seal the tubing connections, so I did.

Be prepared for a surprise when you remove the plugs from the copper lines coming out of the indoor unit. They are loaded with nitrogen and as you release the plug it will shoot several feet away from the pressure. Don't stand in front of it! My first instinct was, oh no! I just released the freon. But of course the freon is only in the outdoor unit.

Copper tubing can be kinked, but if you're reasonably careful with it you won't have any problems. Just don't try to make any sharp bends.

It was a fairly large project, but nothing too challenging. Just take care and read the step by step instructions carefully.

Someone here said you need a nitrogen tank, but that's not mentioned anywhere in the instructions. It may be something that professionals do to pressure test, but the instructions say to let the freon itself do your pressure testing. The downside is that if you actually have a leak you'll lose freon, but a leak is not very likely.

It works! My garage is getting cool.

Are there any parts that we would need to purchase that doesn't come with the system?

My 24000 btu has a 5/8 inch low pressure side tubing and needed to make a tight 90 degree bend so i needed a tubing bender . So where i live in texas i couldnt find a ac contractor to pull a vacuum on system , they wouldn't do it because they didn't install it so bought a vacuum pump guage set and r410 a adapter and did it myself and saved  300$ on a service call and dont forget the line set cover it hides the tubing and makes install look very clean

It says it "comes with precharged for line set lengths between 10'~25'" how do you order different lenghts when ordering through amazon?

Amazon order comes with a 16’ line set. You have to order through Pioneer for the diff lengths. The unit is pre-charged from Amazon.

Is there a condensation line included with line set or a condensation pump?
