Ice Cream Magic - Ice Cream Maker - Set of 6

My grandchildren, ages 2 and 6, love homemade ice cream. It’s very easy to make in these cute little gadgets that really work. Older kids can do it themselves, but the little ones have to have help. We are planning to use these at their next birthday parties and give the makers as party favors. Hint: Keep the metal parts in the freezer for a head start and the ingredients cold. It takes about 5 minutes of shaking to make a really firm product.

Works great. For the amount they say tobuse it only really takes 3 mins of shaking as long as you add a bit more ice halfway through. I think homemade vanilla ice cream taste better than store bought.

Great deal for the price BUT in the bundle they all come in one box, not in the individual product marketing boxes like photographed.

We bought one from a local Boscoves store for $9.99. It was very cute and my son really wanted one. We followed directions to add crushed ice, salt then water. We shook it for three minutes but it was frozen just around the edges maybe a 1/16 of an in. but the inside stuff was still completely liquid but cold. Tired for another three minutes. Was not much different. So just put the whole thing in the freezer for a few hours. My Son loved it. Makes apx. 1/2 cup of ice cream if you put in freezer. But we are going back to the old ice cream in a bag. Adding crushed ice, salt, in one back and cream sugar in another putting the cream bag inside the 2nd and squishing the bag with ice and salt around the cream bag. Takes apx. 10 minutes but works to make real ice cream.

Likes: packaging..makes a good serving size of ice cream, easy to clean. Dislikes: takes too long to solidify
