Solid usb 2.0 adapter
Product is well built and appears sturdier than other adapters I've purchased where i have seen the housing on poorer made products even slide off. Currently I have two pre-ran hard-wired and ziptied usb cables that end in mini type b male, (which i need for another application) but these adapters allow me to connect to those hard to remove usb cables and repurpose them as usb female type A for many other uses such as quick flash drive connection points, ereader hookup, and even charging points for common e-devices needing recharge, etc. Great product, really nifty adapters to have in your inventory if you have a lot of usb devices and you're looking to increase compatibility for your overall device usage model.

Perfect for 2014 Chevy Cruze. You need this adapter if you switched out the radio and want to retain the oem usb location.

Used to hook up stock Sentra radio USB feed
2018 Sentra has a USB feed to the radio that needed fixin. I ran the existing USB car cable to this then glued it up in the old mount and it works great. Solid connection and I jammed this thing into a housing with no issues so its solid.

I am an automotive technician and I use these to bypass usb receptacles to see if they are faulty or not. Great tool to have.

UPDATE: part of the problem may be with the odd pinout of my devices, but these adaptors didn't work for my application. ###both completely non-functional. no data transfer...won't even charge. returned

My dash cam came with a micro USB connection while the OBD2 Port to Dash CAM connector had a mini USB port. This part married the 2 together without any problems. I hid the wires under the dash and taped off the connection for extra sturdiness. Been over a month now and its working well. I am sure it will continue to service for a long time.
